[Cole Ormont]

He ran a hand through his hair again, "not in the least," and nods for her to go ahead.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Nodding, Shaisha pressed the call to Kristal.

"My pretty little crystal~!" she chimed in an annoying tone. It was always fun to try* to get under Kristal's skin.



*=trying being the keyword. Rarely successful.

[Kristal Serasai]

"Greetings, Shaisha," she responded as she always did, despite the attempt, when the call went through and her holo-image appeared.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Been a long time," she jested.

"Right. Kristal, this is Petty Officer Cole Ormont, Republic Navy Surgeon and rescuer of kittens. Cole; Kristal Serasai, Champion of Darth Marr and horrible dancer." Introductions were made. "Now what is the thing?"

[Cole Ormont]

Cole nodded politely, expression serious.

[Kristal Serasai]

"It is a private matter," she replied. Holding to that truth while over the communicator.

Focusing her image toward Cole she addressed him directly, "Cole Ormont, if you are a man that knows discretion I might have use of you in a matter of saving a mans life. If you are, transfer your contact information and I will give you a time and place. If not, this is where our professional relationship will come to an end."

[Cole Ormont]

Cole's lips press together slightly, and he draws his datapad from the pouch at his hip and taps at it, linking in to the call and transferring his information. He lets his silence speak for itself.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha looked between the two of them. "Geez, don't talk my ears off you two..."

[Cole Ormont]

Cole cocked an eyebrow at Shaisha, "don't worry, deviless, after this I want to buy you a drink and pick your brains."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Sounds good to me," she chuckled warmly.

"Very well, I'll assume you two have talked enough. I'll go buy this hero a drink, Kris, and we'll chat later... and take it easy, alright?"

[Kristal Serasai]

Kristal seemed.. well, the interaction and use of nickname of sorts was certainly an odd one as far as she was concerned.

"I will leave you to it," she said simply, ending the communication from her end. Chatting later was most definitely implied.

[Cole Ormont]

Cole chuckled darkly, "I don't think she approves. Now, that drink?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Nah, she approves," she chuckles and shakes her head. "If she didn't, she'd say so. For a Sith, Kristal is more like a proper Imperial officer."

"But yes, let's get that drink. You said you wanted to pick my brains, and that has made me curious."

[Cole Ormont]

They didn't have any trouble finding a dingy hole that passed for a dive in Shadow Town. Cole ordered a whiskey sour on the rocks, poking idly at the cherry at the bottom of the glass before taking a mouthful.

"I'll get straight to the point. If I needed to sabotage a freighter, to prevent it from leaving the spaceport, what am I going to need?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha settled on a whiskey on the rocks, though she noticed that her tastes were quickly becoming spoiled after the first taste.

"Hm... easiest way would just to blow up the freighter, but I'm guessing that isn't an option? Beside, explosions tend to draw a lot of attention, even on Nar Shaddaa." She sipped the whiskey, frowning slightly. "Tampering with the hyperdrive or the engine would see it grounded for a while though."

"Is the target under guard?"

[Cole Ormont]

"The cargo must be unharmed," and, for the first time, Shaisha saw a glimpse of steel in the doctor, a man not just capable of taking command, but able to bend it to his will. Underneath his sheepishness and charm was a surprising presence.

"There are patrols aboard the freighter, but no one outside."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Her golden eyes observe Cole carefully over the rim of her glass as he shows his steely resolve.

"It's possible to tamper with the engines from the outside on some models... but better to plan for the possibility to having to go in. You either need to be able to bluff your way in as a mechanic sent to check that all systems are go, or have a small strike force to take out the guards... though the latter option is full of problems."

Her teeth brush over her lips as she thinks. "Another possibility is to tamper with Spaceport security's files. Make it seem like they haven't paid their dues to the Hutts and have the whole thing locked down by Hutt security."

[Cole Ormont]

"Getting aboard," he ran a hand through his curls, "might be the easy part. I was on the freighter this morning. I might be able to pull the same trick again," he trails off, thoughtful, as a number of possibilities begin to unfold.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Question then is if you're skilled enough to sabotage their engines to prevent them from taking off... and do it in such a spectacular fashion that they'll not have it fixed easily." She smirked, glad to see that Cole had already been making some headway.

"Just a hunch, but this is the missing kids, right?"

[Cole Ormont]

Cole grunted to indicate that she was correct. "Time is quickly becoming a factor. I'd prefer the freighter not make it off the planet with the children aboard."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Hm... guess the info I passed on to Captain Alderaan paid off then."

Her fingers stroked the right side of her chin. "I'm no expert mechanic... got a Jawa who looks after my ship, who've you've met, but I'm not sure he'd be up for such a task. But you're free to take him with you if you can't find anyone else."

[Cole Ormont]

A hint of a scowl had crossed Cole's features at the mention of the Captain. "Could have saved yourself some time, deviless. I assume you're the one that provided the freighter information to begin with?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"No," she shook her head. "Got some info that a trandoshan by name of Julo Vas, thug who works for Black Sun on the side, was a lead to follow up. Passed it on to the Captain. I first heard about the entire thing when I encountered a Jedi Master who was trying to investigate the whole thing. He didn't want my help, but I put out some feelers on the whole thing... and well, you know the rest now."

She swoshed the ice around in her glass.

"Abducting kids is a sore spot for me."

[Cole Ormont]

"There's another thing we can agree on, deviless." Cole smiled and finished his drink. "Thanks for your advice."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Anytime, Cole," she smiled briefly.

"Like I said, Jitter can help you out if need be. I'm going to be off-planet for some time tomorrow, so it's not like I need him to be on standby on my ship during that time."
