Day 4 LE: If a plant lives here, it deserves a medal

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal raised her shield, igniting it and took her Ionsaber in her other hand. She put herself in her defensive stance.

''Fredtrey, do you really see nothing?''

[Nunki Malyna]

It takes Nunki a moment, but when Zash ignites her saber, Nunki instinctively lights her own and rushes to Baesal's side.

[Dapper Dog]

"Do you trust his eyes... or yours little Jedi?" she hisses.

At that she charges.

OOC: What do you do?

[Fredtrey Belestor]

When the Jedi draw their sabers, Fredtrey quickly unholsters his heavy blaster and yells to Baes:

"No, I don't see the threat! I don't think I'll be able to help you!"

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal keeps herself firm between the soul eater and the plant, breath in control. She was afraid, true...but fear is born out of ignorance and her mind's inner cogs spinned to disperse it.

As Zash came, she spoke to Nunki

''Nunki, can you tell me if this is a vergence? I'll hold Zash as long as I can''

Then to the pilot

''Then keep calm friend, fear will only hinder us''

[Nunki Malyna]

Nunki stands her ground, entering a defensive stance and waiting for Zash.

"I... I'm not sure. I'd put my money on it if he can't see her."

OOC: Would Nunki be able to figure that out? Is that a roll?

[Dapper Dog]

OOC: Hard Discipline check, roll Force die if light add as success or advantage if Dark I will assess if Threat or Failure.

[Nunki Malyna]

Nunki focused on Zash as she charged, but with her focus on keeping her stance strong, she wasn't quite able to figure it out.

[Dapper Dog]

Nunki is struck with a vision... she stands on Coruscant and the Jedi Temple is burning and she watches Master Satele get cut down by a Sith Lord and fall her corpse collapsing next to the fallen corpse of Baesal and so many other Jedi. Then she feels pain as a Lightsaber goes deep into her gut into her gut and she falls to her knees and then feels burning as she clutches her neck in agony...

Then she is back in the place kneel in the water doubled over.

OOC: Force Vision and suffer 3 strain and 2 more Conflict. Baesal give me a Resilience check versus Average add a Force Die, if Light add as advantage or success, if Dark I will decide.

[Nunki Malyna]

Nunki opens her eyes, her saber carelessly on the floor in front of her as she is on all 4. She rushes to her feet, reigniting her saber and taking back her stance, but she is much, much more shaky.

resiliance vs Vergence: 1eA+2eD+1eF 2 successes, 2 threat, 1 Dark Side

[Dapper Dog]

Zash slashes quickly but the shield deflects it and then reaches out and bathes Baesal in lightning... it hurts... but she stands strong never wavering. Through the pain she can feel the darkness and the memories of Korriban but she is Jedi now and the darkness is no longer her source of power.

Zash fads from sight laughing... and there is calm in the room once more. Peaceful calm.

OOC: Baesal suffers 3 strain, but has braved the vergence and the plant remains.

[Baesal Zyn]

For a moment it seemed like every inch of her skin caught on fire...the pain was indeed excruciating but she kept her sheild high despide the tears on her cheeks. The darkness had then closed in but she knew it for what it was and she did not hate nor fear it.

She closed her weapons and breathed hard...catching her breath

''So it was'' she said looking at the plant and her companions

''Are you all okay?''

Before taking the plant, I'll have to check something

[Fredtrey Belestor]

Fredtrey sees the two Jedi looking in pain, but is really unsure what to do, he stands his ground and asks:

"I am unharmed. Is there anything I can do?"

He is a man of action, standing there doing nothing is contrary to his beliefs, but he couldn't even begin to understand what was happening.

[Baesal Zyn]

''Maybe...'' she sits down to recover

''Can you get a signal to the Jedi enclave?''

[Nunki Malyna]

As Zash fades away like a fad, Nunki closes and stows her own saber, checking on Baesal, then the plant. She then looks down at her own soaked clothes, shaking her head.

"I'm fine, as long as this water doesn't get me infected with anything weird." She shakes of any excess water from her hands/arms.

[Fredtrey Belestor]

"Certainly"

Fredtrey tries to use his commlink to reach the Jedi enclave. And hands over the commlink to Baes.

[Baesal Zyn]

''Thank you'' she says to the man

''Master Thun please''

[Dapper Dog]

Master Thun answers and says, "Dearie, what is it?"

[Baesal Zyn]

''I am sorry to disturb you you so late in the evening Master Thun'' she said

''We found the plant...but I now wonder if we should bring it back''

[Dapper Dog]

"Not all things lost need be found, Baesal, why do you believe it should remain?" she asks.

[Baesal Zyn]

''I had a vision of Darth Zash...saying that I, like her, plunder for my own gain.''

She links in a video feed and shows master Thun the plant

''We are in a vergence, a dark one likely. I do not know if removing the plant will be beneficial for it or would allow the vergence to grow''

[Dapper Dog]

"It tests us Baesal, but it is not any darkness that you do not bring with you. It is light, but it tests the dark within. I remember my own trial so many years ago. Now you too have a choice to make, to deny others a chance or allow it to be. Only you can decide the proper course," Master Thun replies.

"Decisions ain't ever been easy."

[Baesal Zyn]

''You knew about this location?'' she said. Despite the surprise it made sense

''If others need this then I will leave it be...I might have to sacrifice my one plant, however''

[Dapper Dog]

"No, I think not. Speak to me on your return," Resmi says.
