"Yup." He replied with a light chuckle. "Don't get me wrong though Jal, I'm no hero. If it was something else I might let it pass, but this? It will involve the children, and that's not something I can accept."

"Course the added bonus is that it will piss off Mathias to no end when he finds out it was me that kept it from him."

"You sure you aren't trying to be a hero? Make up for lost time?"

"Maybe, could be I'm thinking of that somewhere in the back of my mind. Hard to tell honestly." He smirked. "Side effects of lying too much perhaps."

"Heh, well, don't let me know more about you than you do, Zanebry." He looked around the alley and then back to the man. "Any other business? Otherwise, I think we've lingered here too long."

He smirked. "Guess it wasn't enough then." He paused. "Mind telling me who that sniper was? If you know? Then we can part ways."

Jal gave him an awkward smile. "I don't know everything, Zanebry. Your girlfriend has been good on operation security."

He smirked at that. "Alright, I'll see if I can find out on my own. Maybe if I ask my lady friend really nicely..." He trailed off. "Have a good night Jal."

"Yup. Try not to get yourself killed out there."

Once Zanebry had walked off, the broker looked at the datachip he had originally offered to the man. "Another time, then..."
