Nar Shaddaa

On a whim and craving something different, Galen walked through Shadow Town until he found the noodle stand he'd seen after finding that body a week ago.

He ordered something simple, found a place to sit and began to eat.

It wasn't long before Galen was joined by a friend, z sliding up into a seat across from him. "I'm surprised that you actually eat something you found down here." He offered with a soft chuckle.

"Is it any good/"

"I've eaten far worse." he shrugged. "This is pretty good, really."

"Mmmm... think I'll have a bowl then." rising to his feet we drifted over to the stand and ordered a bowl for himself, returning towards the table a few moments later.

"How have you been by the way? Sorry I didn't get to go out hunting with you yesterday."

"You're probably alive because you didn't go." he scoffed. "It was a disaster."

That caused him to cringe. "Want to tell me about it? I know it might not be much help, but at the very least I can listen." He glanced at galen as he made the offer, but soon began eating his noodles, avoiding anything that looked like meat.

"It was a good plan, but I should have prepared Zeno and Aphr better." he sighed. "I had thought I'd only need them for support fire. Maybe, we'd need Zeno's sabers if things went bad. But, things started bad."

"While I was setting the first snare, I somehow found the only dry twig in that entire rain soaked swamp."

He snorted. "Sounds like you have my kind of luck. I'm guessing it really went bad after that? The first snare wasn't enough to put it down, and it got to people?"

Zan glanced towards Galen. "Did Aphr make it out okay?"

"She got hit by a tree and was upset by the whole thing, but she's fine." he assured him. "I tried to reset the snare after it leapt away, but I ended up shocking myself. In the meantime, it took Zeno down and dragged him away. I have no idea how he survived."

"Sith are generally like cockroaches in that regard." He replied somewhat dryly before taking another Bite of his food. "I'm glad you are okay though, and Aphr too. By the sounds of it though, you had to leave when it waa distracted by Zeno?"

"I'm guessing Aphr didn't react well to that at all... I should talk with her."

"She blamed herself." he nodded, after swallowing a mouthful. "I couldn't convince her how ridiculous that was, even after he told us he was alive."

"It's common." He chuckled lightly. "I've done the same."

He frowned slightly. "You are right though, sometimes all you can do is your best, and that's not good enough, you aren't to blame though. not really, sometimes it's the way the world works."

"Still, I should have prepared them better." he sighed. "I'm not used to hunting with a team."

"It does work differently." He conceded with a soft sigh. "They both survived though, and I hope you've at least learned something from this."

"If you go to take it down again, I'm in."

He shook his head. "It's gone. It's territory was significantly violated and it was hurt. It isn't going to stay there. It will take weeks to track it down or find another one."

He nodded. "Out of options once again then. Aren't you?"

"Yep." he nodded. "I'm going to talk to Ryssa Lim again tonight. That means I can't go on your little adventure, though."

He nodded and offered the other man a smile. "I understand." He paused a moment, and took a bite of his meal. "I'll call you when its all done."

"You'd better." he smirked. "I'll need to tell you all about Ryssa Lim."

"As long as it's not another story if your sexual conquests I'll certainly listen." Z returned with a soft chuckle.

He shrugged.

"If that's what it takes to get her off our back." he laughed.

"Sometimes a man does what he must, even if the woman isn't particularly attractive." He sighed softly.

"Well there is one good thing about you not coming with me Galen." He offered after a moment. "It means I can leave a few things in you hands. Contingencies you might say."

"That assumes I'll survive my own adventure, but sure." He gave the man his full attention. "What did you have in mind?"

"Nothing I'll say out loud." He said with a easy smile. "At least for the most part, there are certain people that I want notified, so they know not to expect me. Things of that nature." He pulled a datachip from his pocket and passed it to his friend. "All the details are in here. I'd ask you don't look unless I don't return, and destroy it if I do."

"It's password protected, the code has something to do with that last great adventure we had together." He finished the last people with a sly smile, figuring the man would understand what he was meaning.

He nodded in understanding as he took the chip.

"I'll take care of it. When you do come back, don't worry if you don't see the Starcross."
