Nar Shaddaa

In a darkened alley a corpse lies against the wall, it is a male true sith that has been disemboweled with his guts spilling onto the dirty street. His arms sit at his side and it all looks like this was placed her more so than where he died.

Hutt Security has yet to arrive, if they ever do given this is Shadow Town, but the corpse is fresh the blood still pooling. The vagrants have picked the corpse over as best as they can but scatter if strangers approach. There is no idea, the clothes are stained with blood and any valuables have been removed either by the killer or the vagrants of Shadow Town.

After the party, Galen had walked the streets for a bit. It wasn't the safest idea, but he wanted to get a sense of things. Shadow Town seemed to be as it always was, but he did notice some a few vagrants looking around warily as they left an alley. It seemed worth a look.

Finding the corpse, he looked it over carefully and studied the alley. A dead body in this area wasn't all that surprising, but that didn't make it insignificant.

Galen hears another approaching.

He stepped back, away from the body. Not bothering to hide, he stood in the middle of the alley and waited for whoever was approaching. Taking out his commlink, he held it in his hand.

A young woman stares up at him, she looks past him... or perhaps she can just see what is behind him but she says, "Step aside."

With a nod, he does so.

Had left a meeting with Miss Ulter very shortly before. Turning down an alleyway, the Pantoran was greeted by the sight of the dead body, as well as the two others. He paid no mind to the other two, instead approaching the body.

His yellow-gold eyes scanning the body, as he crouched down.

The Sith was killed before he was gutted, after examining it all seems a bit ritualistic but otherwise nothing stands out. He does note that there is something in the Sith's mouth.

"I don't know him personally," she says with an Imperial accent, "But I know of him, Lord Yukan. He just arrived this morning with our delegation."

He put his commlink away.

"Then it's certainly more your business, than mine. I'm willing to help, if I can, but I arrived here just before you did."

A masked Sith strode into the scene, turning on her preternatural Sense to make sense of the scene.

"Stand aside. He's not one of yours." She looked at the neutral bystanders.

Moyr can feel everything around, the darkness and anger and suffering that permeates this moon seems to infect everything. She can feel the Force resonate everyone here, each burning in the Force with their own light.

Lana stands and bows her head to Moyr, “My lord, it is Lord Yukan, dead before we arrived.”

He was already standing aside, but took another step back. He said nothing, watching the two Sith quietly.

"Lord Yukan. An unfamiliar name. An independent one, or aligned with one of the Darths? Your name?" Moyr asked, trying to discern something about Yukan's death herself. Not to a great success.

"Lana Beniko, aspirant in training to Darth Xevious, my lord," she says dutifully. Moyr can see that the Sith was probably dead before his gut was cut open.

Durasay stood as the red twi'lek approached. Pulling bacm his trenchcoat, he placed his hands on his waist. "He was still alive while he was gutted. This wasn't a random act."

His intense eyes met the woman, before looking at the others who were requesting him to withdraw. "I'd like to aid you, in seeking justice, as well as my own sense of need to solve this crime."

"I heard that there were explosions in the morning by some Imperial vessels. And now this. Someone's trying to send the Empire a message?" Moyr paused. "Since you are a local aspirant you can probably tell if this is an isolated incident or things like this were happening before the arrivals for the peace talks."

Moyr looked around for a tool or weapon it was done with, or other prints that could help identify the offender. But she was apparently tired.

Careful not to get in the way, Galen tried to get another look at the body.

Durasay smiled, wry and curious in his eyes. Taking a ayep from the body, he slowly began to look abouy.

"I plan on hitting the streets. Someone had to have seen or heard something. This wasn't something that could be done in a hurry. I'm good with people. They'll talk to me."

The Sith was alive when killed bt before you can get anything more Hutt Security arrives, four officers composed of two humans and two nikto. They approach and a Nikto says in Huttese, “No one kriffing move.”

"So good to be back..." Galen muttered. He held his hands out, with his arms spread wide.

The Red Wraith didn't move. But spoke.

"This is an internal matter of the Sith. It would be unwise for you to try to exercise jurisdiction. You wouldn't want to anger your superiors by putting the peace talks in danger, would you?"

Hutt Security looks at each other and the leader says, “Fine, but get this mess cleaned up. We’ll cordon off he area and let you do whatever you Sith do.”

They go to give you privacy.

Durasay's spine bristled as he felt something as the woman spoke. An icy claw of dread at the base of his skull. Taking a long, deep breath, he steadied himself. It was always an odd sensation whenever he felt the power of the dark side.

"Though I think you'll have no problem with that, madame. But if this is someone targetting the peace talks, then I feel it in incumbent upon myself to help. And sith or no, you can't take on a whole conspiracy by yourself."

Besides, it might give him an opportunity to find something to his own advantage.

"All will be cleaned up." the Sith reiterated, then looked at Lana, waiting for the henchmen to depart. "I want the body delivered to a particular someone in the Imperial Compound. Will you handle it as I tell you or do I need to do it myself?"

Then she turned to the curious bystanders.

"And who are you exactly again? I missed your names amid the gore."

"Galen Sol." he answered as the security unit departed. "I found the body shortly before the others arrived. Though, I'm fairly certain I wasn't the first to discover him."
