Nar Shaddaa

Alysele stood in front of Kintan Sunset, hands on her hips, near her lightsaber.

Ugh. This place was an ugly piece of work. She took one step forward, but stopped there, deigning to wait for the others to catch up to her.

Let's get some use out of them.

The little Jedi was obvious. He recognised her from the Holo, although she seemed smaller. She was wearing high heels.

Seriously?

He sighed and walked over, enjoying the feel of his new armour.

"Pleased to meet you in person." He looked down at her and gave a polite nod.

Music filters out the door, and the sound of a lightsaber inside.



If the trio enter they find several dead nikto and single nikto woman bound to a chair as a Sith dances to beautiful music spinning her saber with little care. A nikto tries to move and she silences him with a casual swing of her weapon as she sings along to the music.

Jo’ren has seen her around the compound… maybe.

Holding in a sigh Jo'ren braced himself for an afternoon of awkwardness. He decided to get in there before the Jedi opened her mouth.

"Good afternoon, my Lord. We haven't been introduced yet. I'm Jo'ren Rath, and this is Alysele Cortess. I guess we're all here to investigate the murders."

“Murders?” she looks around. “Oh I loved the music but the stench of alien was awful so I decided to fix the ambiance. Nothing gets the blood flowing like a little death and mayhem,” she says still dancing.

“I kept this one alive for further amusement.”

The nikto woman says in Huttese, “She killed everyone!”

“Not true, the bartender is probably alive… minus an arm. I said shaken not stirred and he totally stirred. He won’t make that mistake again,” she says swaying to the music.

“Lord Zhorrid, dance with me… I love this song,” she holds out her free hand to Jo’ren.

"Glad you went with the tactical high heel boots today." Was the first thing he had said to Alysele before walking into the bar.

His eyes widened as he saw the abattoir the place had become. Instinctively, he grabbed his blaster, drawing it as he threw back his coat to draw.

"And you probably gave away ant chance of surprise we had," his words were cold. "Leave her be. We have a job to do." His heart aching for the victims of this charnal house.

Alysele rolled her eyes. "Want another sampling?" She replied sarcastically before sighing. Of course he drew the gun. She looked at him, and shook her head. "Peace talks." Was her only response for now.

"Maybe after drinks, later tonight?" He tried to keep the frivolity in his voice, but found it difficult to do so. His hand remained steady, as he slowly replaced the blaster into his holster.

This woman was going to complicate matters. Maybe the Red God could take her first before they finished it.

She cocks her head at Durasay and says, “Are you commanding me?” She turns her attention to Jo’ren and says, “Did the alien command me?”

“I must have imagined it… I have no idea what is going on but if you want this alien, fine have it. She just screams things in her debased language. Learn Basic, stupid alien. Seriously this wretched creature is not as satisfying as I had hoped,” Zhorrid sighs.

“Ugh different song…” she walks over to the juke box and starts tapping through the songs as if everything is just normal.

OOC: Everyone gains 2 conflict for the bloodshed.

"Recommending. So we can avenge your dead Sith Lord." His felt that burning of anger again, wanting to put a blaster bolt between this Sith Lord's eyes. Instead, he focused on the task at hand, looking to the woman as she was released. "Keep your friend occupied. I'll see to our guest." He kept his voice low, speaking to Jo'ren. He slowly moved to the Nikto woman, holding out a hand to her.

Speaking in Huttese. "I can never make up for what happened here. But I can help get this woman out, and out of Shadow Town. I just need your help. Please."

Aly frowned and stood between the red and blue guys. Men. She rolled her eyes, but allowed Durasay to do his thing with the compassion.

The nikto woman is in tears and says in Huttese, “She killed everyone…”

She goes to a cropse with several savage burn marks through the flesh and says, “My brother… why? He did nothing!”

Durasay walked with her, kneeling as he touched the corpse. Laying a hand on her shoulder, he contemplated reaching out with the Force, trying to guide her emotions to a place of peace, to help... But decided against it. He wouldn't tap into the dark side, wouldn't let that ugliness crawl out into a scene like this. Instead, he remained quiet, allowing the woman to grieve.

"Because these people feel that all Nikto worship the Red God. That's what they're after. One of the Red God zealots killed one of theirs, and until he is found, they will continue their reign of terror here." His huttese was accented, quiet, meant for only her to hear. He tried to sound sympathetic, wanting to ease her suffering. "And they do not care, like I do. I wish I could have prevented this, and I have to prevent more of this. Please... have you heard anything of this cult? Help me end the suffering. I need to help you all."

He wouldn't be like the Sith. The ends would not justify the means.

The nikto woman says while sobbing, “I… I don’t understand it’s just stupid legends. My brother was fascinated by the old ways and then invited me out to meet some new friends and then she came in saying something about the music and then people started dying. What is happening?”

"Someone is taking those old legends, and acting on them. Killing Sith, killing Jedi. All in the name of the Red God. And that is why the Sith have released their monsters, here." His words remained quiet, as he leaned closer to her. "I can help stop them. We just have to stop whoever is being so foolish to try and live those old legends. The Sith won't care who they slay, or who they leave behind. But I will. Seeing you, seeing this? It pains me to my very soul, and I want to end this all."

He was trying to be reassuring, trying to show how he felt for them in Shadow Town. "Who brought your brother into the old ways?"

Jo'ren was experiencing a surge of emotions. This pointless murder was the way of the new Sith, not the old. It was pathetic. He steeled himself, and then the Pantoran entered and started throwing orders around.

Eyes narrowed as he looked at the blue alien. When he spoke his voice was cold and low. "Durasay Mixo I presume. Watch your tongue."

The Pantoran was going to get himself killed if he wasn't extremely careful, and this place has seen enough death for a day.

"Alysele, perhaps the bartender can be stabilised? It's likely he would know more about the comings and goings of cult members."

He finally walked over towards Zhorrid. "My Lord wished to dance?"

Zhorrid is distracted and says, “Oh you’re still here. What is this nonsense about murders? Who are these people… is that a Jedi? Maybe she likes to dance?”

She finds a song she likes and says, "Yes..."

The nikto is leery but she sees his conviction and although she does not trust him she nods and says “He was talking to someone named AZA something on the holonet, he seemed very… intense. He brought us here to meet with this person but nothing has happened.”

“The Red God is myth!”

"A Sith Lord was murdered a few days ago my lord. I am investigating the matter, and so are those people." He waved a hand towards Durasay and Alysele. "Yes, I believe the one in high heels is a Jedi."

“Is that what all this is about, why do they care if the lord was murdered he was weak and deserved to be food for worms. I would not risk this much effort for a grave man,” she scoffs and reaches out for Jo’ren.

“Weakness should be forgotten.”

Jo'ren accepted her grasp and moved closer, towering over her. "I am told there may have been a Jedi murdered as well, and that our high-heeld Jedi over there was also attacked."

He shrugged. "Supposedly this assassin is a skilled fighter. Why not test myself against him?" He would kill something powerful, after the Nemerosch incident.

Aly looked around, seeing both the blue and red man occupied with their respective female companions, she did as bade (bristling, of course!) and checked on the bartender.

The nikto bartender is laying behind the bar alive with one arm lopped off.

He recoils from the Jedi.

She knelt down gently. "It's okay." She spoke in basic. "I am not here to hurt you."
