[Yslane Tssilla]

"I see," She looks over Slyvain with an impassive gaze, "If this information is verified he will be dealt with, whatever wrong he feels your associates did to him is not cause for a pursuing a vendetta. Justice is not something you can take into your own hands, especially to the detriment of the whole."

"I have heard of this Layne....nothing good I might add, she seems more in line with the popular perception of the Sith. At least by appearances."

Her expression softens, "And what do you want out of all this, beyond our mutual desire for peace?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "Layne is a brute when she needs to be... an effective tool for my master. Though I wouldn't fully characterize her as just a blood-thirsty thug."

He then raises his hands a few inches in a gesture of surrender, "I, like yourself, live only to serve. I serve my Empire's interests whatever they may be and in whatever way that needs to get done. I do not fear the Light side as many Sith do... I am willing to work with whatever tools are available to me to see that the Empire's needs are met. For me... I see a place for Jedi in the Empire one day. I see a place for almost everyone; perhaps I am foolish to imagine such an existence, but it is who I am. For that future to be a reality, however, one must lay the groundwork. That is what I look to accomplish... if we are talking big picture here."

He smiled, "If we're talking small picture, then establishing contacts and potential friends among those here who can be trusted is something that helps me lay that groundwork."

He then took a sip of his drink and smiled charmingly, "So you've heard unappealing things about Layne then? I hope my conversations aren't being monitored by the SIS."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"At times the only difference between Intelligence Analysts and stalkers is the former, in theory, does their work for a 'good' cause," Yslane smirks, "SIS could probably tell me what color underwear you wore this morning and how much coffee you had."

"...I am not convinced by this vision of yours." Her tone grows more serious, "There are deep philosophical differences between the Jedi and Sith, too deep to bridge at this time...maybe if the peace can last and a real dialogue opened."

"A ground work as you say....but resting on a sand foundation at the moment. Still...peace has to start somewhere. Do you believe Xevious truly wants these talks to succeed?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

He tilted his head, "Honestly? I am not sure anymore. But I intend to help push it that way."

He then nodded, "My vision doesn't happen in the immediate future... but it is my hope that eventually order can be brought to what has been a needlessly disordered and violent conflict between the two sides."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"So regardless you intend to press forward with the peace talks," She smiles, "Well as I stated....on the Republic's side you have myself and the Senator from Mon Calamari. Master Shan as well."

"Likely my own Master Yulani as well."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain smiled brightly, "Master Yulani you say? My, my... isn't the galaxy a small place. I know Thy Yulani... met her briefly on Yavin IV. But... more importantly I held a holocron that had her personality inside of it for several weeks which taught me much about your order. We were decent friends in that form... Is she on moon?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"That would explain how she knew you," Yslane raises a brow at that, "Has Imperial Intelligence not informed you which senior Jedi are present?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"I'm sure she's on a list somewhere... but our briefings were more directed on the most powerful members of your order that are present. It's not meant as a slight to your master of course... but it is somewhat obvious that there are differences in skill, experience, and status between someone like Satele Shan, and your master." He smiled.

"She still as quirky and fun as ever?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"...well you have meet her then," Yslane sighs, "Master Yulani has a...unique outlook on life." The images of them dressed up in ridiculous outfits as 'Jedi Warriors of Justice' returns.

"...anyway on the peace talks. Are there any others on your side willing to discuss peace in good faith?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain chuckled at the way the woman turned the conversation back to business, "Well tell Thy hello from me... I expect a very confused response."

He then tilted his head, "I've done some elementary polling of those who I am friendly with here, Colonel Moraal is one who would willingly support talks for peace. As I mentioned before, my master wants them as well, so someone like Layne Hoshin as well would be in support of them. Some of the others are rather ambivalent but could be persuaded. Kristal Serasai and Shaisha Vreysk immediately come to mind."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Are you sure your Master supports these initiatives?" Yslane pressed, deciding to be blunt, "The briefings I had on him did not painting a flattering picture of trustworthiness."

She makes a mental note to check on the other two names mentioned when she was back at the compound.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"I've been told that it is my primary objective to make them succeed. But my master is a deceitful and altogether terrible individual, so I cannot say with 100% clarity that is the case."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"A pity," Yslane lets out a long sigh, "So then the information sent me about him isn't entirely inaccurate?"

She takes a drink in contemplation, "Well...nothing worth doing is easy. So then despite your protestations to the good Senator yesterday, I assume the Sith are not without their own problems....lest the peace initiative would have never taken off. So what is it your Lord's really want out of these talks?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Peace for some. Not for others.... But I do believe my master has peace on his mind."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Sorry...I meant in terms of concessions," Yslane clarifies, "What concessions are you seeking, at least to begin with...."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"The specifics will most likely be bartered over in some detail, but control over some systems that are currently contested will certainly be a major point."

[Yslane Tssilla]

Yslane chuckled, "I expected that much....any idea on demands for some kind economic or trade concessions? If you do not know specifics that is fine...I am just curious how angry the Senate is going to be when the first requests arrive."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"I would expect a very hard line stance..."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I shouldn't be surprised," Yslane sighed softly, "Oh well, that was less encouraging then I had hoped."

She suddenly asks, "Did you grow up among the Sith...or did you leave your family to begin training at a later stage?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Raised in a noble family. Father was Minister of War for the Empire for the past 15 years. Tutored in the ways of the force privately until my mid-teens when I was sent to Korriban to train." He replied.

"You?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I was five." Yslane replies, "When I was adopted into the Temple of Courscant. Since then I have had little contact with family, none until I was sixteen."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Parents are a mixed bag." Sylvain said with a smile.

"I love and respect mine greatly... but they reciprocate in very interesting ways." He chuckled, "Did you like meeting with your parents?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Two complete strangers that shared some of my facial features." Yslane took a sip of wine. "It was awkward meeting them again. The only memories I had of them at that point were the day the Order took me in...and how both of them had towered over me."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He smiled and nodded, "I'm assuming that's a bit different now. You're quite the regal and elegant tall woman."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Yes... and even knowing that would be the case didn't make it any less awkward." She rubbed the glass, "The Order was my family. My biological family were just strangers. Nice enough people, but I will not visit them again."
