[Day 1 - ME] Why Can't We be Friends? - Event

[Jo'ren Rath]

Looking at the heavily armoured Sith, he decided to introduce himself, extending a big hand.

"I'm Jo'ren Rath. You look like you can handle yourself in a fight. Don't believe we've ever met."

Looking over at Layne he saw her nod and waved her over.

[Yslane Tssilla]

Yslane watched the armored Sith enter and took the smallest of steps back. Conceding some ground to the intimidating figure.

[Layne Hoshin]

Yeah, why not. It wasn't like she had much else going on, so she walked on to Jo'ren and company.

"Got to give the Hutts credit on the venue," she said when closing the distance. "galactic peacetalks, in a nightclub."

[Jo'ren Rath]

"Very much Hutt style it seems. I was playing their favourite game earlier. Heavy on the violence. Anyway it's good to see you Layne, you've been busy the last few months." He looked at the new guy in the armour. "I was just introducing myself to our colleague here."

[Layne Hoshin]

"Have I? Been keeping tabs on me have you? I'm almost flattered."

She turned to the guy with the battle armor. It looked old.... but it was almost surely not as old as Layne's design looked.

"Nice suit."

Looking over at Layne he saw her nod and waved her over.

He glances down to the extended hand and then back at Jo'ren pausing for a second then meets his hand with his own for a firm grip. "Dujar" He sums the man up

"I have seen quite a few and I am still here." regrettably. He barely shakes his head: "I would have remembered your face Sith. We have not."

His head turns slightly at the approaching teen Sith. He does not look at his own armour when she points it out, only at her.

"It holds a history I don't fully understand. Yet." He then looks at her armour "That from Korriban Tombs?"

[Layne Hoshin]

"Tombs?" unlike him, she did look down at her own. "In a way, I guess. It dates from the time of Ajunta Pall."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

The apprentice of Darth Vowrawn arrived for the party. And she had to at least acknowledge that it was most likely she didn't have to slaughter the security this time. Even with the formality, there was still a lightsaber visible on her hip.

Dressed in a black gown that left most of her back exposed and her hair swept to the side in an elaborate sidebraid, Shaisha cast a few glances around as she paid her respects to the Hutts, then glided through the gathering in a lazy roundabout way towards Sylvain and Anhel as she picked up a welcoming drink along the way.

"Torsin," she nodded first to her foster-brother, then to the unknown man, "and this must be Anhel Rolm."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain nodded. "We were enjoying a bit of conversation. It's a pleasure to see you sister."

[Anhel Rolm]

Anhel Rolm nodded to Sylvain's request of privacy. He then turned his attention to the pureblood Sith. "Shaisha Vreysk. It is a pleasure to meet you in person." He raised his glass to her. "And it appears you know how to enjoy yourself." He turned to Sylvain, his next jest out of genuine teasing. "Sylvain did not wish to partake in any drinking."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"A pleasure, brother," she said, her tone hinting at something else despite the playful curl of her lips.

The teasing made her give a brief chuckle, followed by a quieter voice. "Well, I guess his master must be rubbing off on him in that regard. Personally, I am enjoying a party that I don't have to kill."

Her eyes flashed with mirth as it seemed she probably meant that literally, and she took a small sip of the beverage.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He let out one burst of air through his nostrils, which was muffled by the mask, "Shaisha's duties are a bit different from mine this evening. I'd hate to end up kneeling like a fool to a member of the other delegation like the woman from before."

[Anhel Rolm]

Anhel turned silent at the lingering remark of killing parties, literally. He sipped from his glass and made a hasty recovery. "That was an interesting occurrence, to say the least." He blinked and focused on Shaisha. "Ah. I must extend my condolences as well. You too felt the loss of Grand Moff Torsin heavily, I imagine."

[Cole Ormont]

Someone offered Cole a drink, and he took it, absently. Resting an elbow on one of those high cocktail tables that were dotted about the edges of the room, he slouched to the side, taking a draught from the cup without even knowing what it was.

The arrival of Shaisha caught his eye. Her exposed back and elaborate braid earning an appreciative cock of an eyebrow from across the room before he went back to people watching. A waitress drifted through the crowd and he observed a repeated muscle spasm below her eye that might suggest epilepsy, sclerosis, migraine, drug use, maybe. He takes another drink.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

There was a silent nod at first. "He was a credit to his occupation," she said with some neutrality in her voice. Heavily seemed to be an exaggeration for her.

Her head turned to the side as she looked at Sylvain. "Kneeling like a fool? Sounds like I missed the party's first blunder. What happened?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"One of the Senators kneeled to Xevious at the opening of the festivities... I can't imagine what possessed her to do so, unless the Republic has already decided to give up trying to negotiate with us.."

[Anhel Rolm]

"I predict that the image will be spread across the holonet. That will be an embarrassment to her." Anhel finished his glass and smiled. "I should attend to other guests here and I imagine that you two must mingle too. Inform me if you wish to speak further and in private?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"How priceless. Can't wait to see it plastered over the holonet." Might even become my new datapad background. This will be a cakewalk if the Republic submit so easily.

She sipped her drink once more, glancing between Anhel and Sylvain for a moment. "Of course. Duty requires we explore these new hunting grounds," Shaisha's smile showed a hint of her pearly white teeth.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain nodded a farewell to Anhel and turned to Shaisha after he departed.

"I've set up a meeting shortly with him privately. He says he's looking for a backer... Would you like to join us or should I handle this one alone?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha quietly gave some attention to her drink, waiting a good while before responding until she was certain there was enough space and noise between them and Anhel.

"Think I'll tag along... want to get my own reading on his angle. So far, he's no different than all the foolish young nobles back in Kaas City." Her carefully manicured nails tapped against the glass of her drink. "Your impression of Nar Shaddaa so far and all this?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"As described... a dangerous and intricately complex system. My ship was attacked as we landed this morning. A Jedi I met threatened to kill me for walking around in the Red Light District... And Jawas are in possession of something that belongs to me... We have much to discuss." He replied softly.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"We do," she concurred in a soft tone, but to onlookers it looked more like she was sharing gossip with her fellow Sith.

"Jawas? I doubt it's the one I have on my ship who's responsible, but Jitter might be of assistance...? And those explosions I heard were from your ship, huh... seeing as I see your fellow apprentice here, I guess it was too much to ask for that she met it face-first."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded, "She took a considerable beating from it. Her lightsaber nearly broke as well."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Pity it was only nearly," she chuckled.

"Good thing I'm not a wanted target like you then. Or I'm just too pretty to be attacked in such a manner."

[Rumun Gol]

The blue one has arrived to the party.

Rumun arrived here as it was expected. Today has been fascinating for Darth Hoshi's apprentice. Hopefully this party will continue the trend. The duros will probably stay until the party is over.
