Rumun went to the working area of the imperial compound to once again work in the upgrade of his lightsaber. He carefully disasemble the saber and with utmost care took out the red kyber crystal.

He then tried to attune himself more deeply to the gem but his concentration on the dark side failed and he could not improve the ilum crystal.

With a sigh, he reassembled the saber. At least the crystal was not damaged.
