Red Night (D9, EN Syl's room)

[Kristal Serasai]

"There is no one like you Sylvain, not in the entire Empire. You have the heart to fight for what you believe in," she said, bringing her head away and looking to him eye to eye.

"And you can back away when you know it is the best way forward," she said with a light smile, just as an explosion suddenly rippled out from someplace within the compound.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain's eyes turned to the sound. Then back to Kristal.

"That's not normal." He stood up slowly, wincing under some pain left in his ribs.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Oh poodoo...!" Shaisha grumbled. Guess they didn't manage to disable the bombs after all.

The door opened quickly. "You can continue this later. Follow me."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain nodded. Internally he was quite frustrated to have this thrown on his plate at a time like this. With difficulty he moved with speed to follow Shai.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"I though they had disabled the bombs around here," she muttered mostly to herself as she quickly led Kristal and Sylvain out of the compound to where she had parked her speeder.

"Hop in!"

Sylvain followed his sister out and jumped in the speeder.

"You knew...?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"That hardly matters right now, does it?" she grumped and once Sylvain and Kristal were both on the ride, Shaisha hit the pedal to the metal, and zoomed off.

"You guys can crash at my place. It should be safe there."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain chuckled with difficulty and nodded simply.
