After the Imperial intelligence briefing, Rumun goes to Darth Xevious' chambers. The head of the delegation wanted a meeting with one of Hoshi's apprentices.

The duros told a servant to announce his arrival and waited until Xevious granted permission to enter.

[Darth Xevious]

Xevious has him enter, the large man is standing by the window and says, "Rumun Gol, your name casts a long shadow."

[Rumun Gol]

Rumun enters the chambers and bowed low and respectfully to the Xevious. '' It a great honor to be in your presence my Lord.'' His raspy voice was calm but also respectful.

'' My shadow is just a mere shadow. Yours is tangible and carry the power and prestige of your position, my Lord '' A bit of humility and a bit of praise to the Dark lord.

He waits until he is allowed to speak. He knows his place.

[Darth Xevious]

“Join me,” he commands.

“What do you see?” he gestures to the broad skyline of Nar Shaddaa through the oily rain that patters against the window.

[Rumun Gol]

He follows him and stands looking outside the window. Then he replies calmly.

'' Wealth, Power, Domination. Resources and the will to exploit them. Years upon years of a successful history, nearly as old as the galaxy itself. A system that influences the galaxy over and over again. A galactic-wide network of information and trade. Fear. ''

[Darth Xevious]

“Insightful, that kind of insight is missing among many Sith. My son included, I have a personal favor to ask of you,” the Dark Councilor says.

[Rumun Gol]

Rumun did not make any comment about Xevious praise to him. His voice is still calm.

'' Of course. I'm here to serve the Empire and you, my lord. If It is within my skills I will gladly help you '' He replied politely.

[Darth Xevious]

“Take my son under your guidance, I have done all I can for him but perhaps an outside voice may reach him. Your successes have not gone unnoticed. My only stipulation is that he should not come to any undue harm,” Xevious says warmly.

[Rumun Gol]

Xevious request genuinely surprised Rumun but he tried to keep his cool.

'' I will gladly help you in this request, my Lord. I will try my best to guide your son in whatever way I can.'' He replied and bowed.

'' Though, might I ask why you choose me, my Lord? I'm sure that there are many siths that could offer wisdom, insight, and more importantly, experience to your son. And although I have seen much during these last months under Darth Hoshi's guidance, I'm still an apprentice'' He asked politely.

[Darth Xevious]

“You are young and you do not cause waves, two things that have appeal for this task. I don’t trust any Sith I do not control, keep that in mind but I find you more palatable than other choices even with your alien roots,” the Dark Lord replies.

[Rumun Gol]

'' I understand.'' Rumun nods. '' Well, I'll try my best then. ''

'' I should ask what are your expectations? What is what you want to achieve by the end of this guidance period? Better insight? Martial prowess? Greater understanding of the Dark Side? All of them?'' He asked.

'' Also any information about your son could be helpful. Of course, this is very personal information and I only ask so as to help me understand your son. Of course once I meet with him I will see what kind of person he is, but I would prefer to have the basic information first. If you don't want to share this information, I understand my Lord. '' He adds.

[Darth Xevious]

"I expect him to learn, what you choose to teach is up to you. As for my son, speak to him yourself and gain your own impression," he replies.

"You are dismissed."

[Rumun Gol]

He complied.

''I will not waste more of your time, my Lord '' He bowed to the Dark Lord respectfully once more and then walk away.
