'Visiting Hours' (D7, EM Infirmary)

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain's eyes fluttered open as he sat in a chair in a room he didn't recognize for a second. Looking to his side he saw Kristal, still asleep, his hand clasping hers as she rested on the bed. He rolled his stiff neck a bit and gave her hand a gentle squeeze, more for affection than any intent to wake her.

He stretched himself out and looked out the window for a moment trying to catch his bearings on the new day...

Yet, it did. As Kristal came back to herself she awoke in the sterile room of an Imperial medical center, located in the compound to be sure. Groggy from the post op sleep she blinked as she looked about the room and caught Sylvain's image beside her. Pushing herself up so she might sit upright in the room. Everything was still rather sore, a little weak too given the circumstances but she was whole again... kinda.

Seeing her stir he turned his head and groggy eyes her way, "Good morning beautiful."

[Kristal Serasai]

Kristal just laughed, which brought up a few sore spots that were still noticeable.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"How are you feeling?" He asked with a tired smile as he wiped his eyes.

[Kristal Serasai]

"Like I spent the night in the infirmary after having my leg removed by a Jedi," she said straight. As they spoke she took herself in, looking at the medical garb and reaching down to feel the replacement they put in for her to keep her active. As she had demanded it was done expediently. Darth Marr, and the Empire, would not wait for her to heal before they needed her again.

Sylvain leaned in and kissed her on the forehead just left of center.

He scooted his chair over and reached out to take her hand. "It was a rough night..."

[Kristal Serasai]

"I do not recall much," she replied, turning her hand over into his. "You did not have to spend the night. You would not have been far," she said, despite the futility of the comment.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He smiled and shook his head, "Nah... if I can be here. I'll be here. But you know that."

He yawns and stands up to stretch, "Your clothes were pretty torn up, so I put in an order for you last night. Someone should be stopping by soon. You hungry yet?"

[Kristal Serasai]

"You do not have to dote upon me Sylvain, it is a pain I have suffered before," she said, pushing herself up fully and squaring her shoulders. Hiding the pain for now, for as long until she could get her hands on a stim that would make that much easier.

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain chuckled, "I don't have to... but I choose to."

He reached down and squeezed her hand, "You don't need to worry about me... I'm more comfortable here than I would be anywhere else."

[Kristal Serasai]

"You may be comfortable, but I find it slightly suffocating," she admitted with a light, slightly pained, laugh.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"It is my great pleasure to make you feel the need to punch me." He offered with a chuckle.

"I'll be sure not to dote too much... I pray you'll forgive me for watching you sleep one night after I got you caught up in something bad." He replied with a weak smile.

[Kristal Serasai]

"What did happen back there? It is.. rather fuzzy, if I am to admit. After the fighting stopped..." she said, drifting from continuing on. He knew well enough how hard it was to keep focus on much else after that.

"I went to protect you, and failed."

[Dapper Dog]

The door opens and a woman in armor barges in shoving past an Imperial soldier and then says, "Torsin... somehow I knew this was your fault."

[Kristal Serasai]

When the armored woman barged in, Kristal lifted herself to be able to face her and quickly spoke before Sylvain could manage it, "I would not cast blame on the victim," she stopped short of calling her mother.

[Dapper Dog]

Her mother moves to stand by her side and says, "The Emperor's ass it isn't his fault..."

[Kristal Serasai]

"We were ambushed by Jedi after freeing an Imperial Agent from Hutt Custody," she replied. "At worst Sylvain was a target."

[Dapper Dog]

"And him being a target is supposed to make me feel better?" she says looking at Sylvain her helmet hiding her disgust.

[Kristal Serasai]

"It makes him no different than either of us," she reminded her mother. Looking to her directly with a strong position Well, as strong of a position as she could manage given the predicament.

"What I am trying to do, what we are trying to do... I do not expect what enemies we have now will be the end of them."

[Dapper Dog]

"I am not here to argue with you," she says after a moment. "I cam here to make sure you were... it does not matter. Are you going to have the limb replaced?"

[Kristal Serasai]

"I had them attach a basic prosthetic," she replied, not wanting to uncover it just yet. "I intend to walk out of here, today, as a matter of fact."

Raising her still clearly cybernetic hand she added, "And I am alright," once again she paused where she might have referred to her as mother, "it is not something I have not survived before."

[Dapper Dog]

"Well at least I know you won't stay idle," she counters.

[Kristal Serasai]

"You knew that before you walked in here," she responded with a light, slightly pained, smile.

[Dapper Dog]

"Good to see he has not made you soft," she says sparing a glance to Sylvain.
