[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha felt like shit as she woke up at the Imperial Compound. She had slept like a rock, but like a rock that had been hit with a power-hammer repeatedly while wedged between another rock and a hart place.

Ugh... right... I crashed here

Yesterday had been a hectic mess as she had helped Section IX out. And Jaina had been there too? It was time to get some answers to what had happened, as she went over to speak with Paz and the rest of the gang.

[Dapper Dog]

Paz was up and working, maybe he never slept, he glances to the Shaisha and says, "Morning... not sure who brought in the Sith backup but thanks. I think I found someone who may sleep less than I do."

[Jaina Von]

Jaina says, "I spotted several Republic agents fleeing the scene. I can;t be certain but they may have been responsible... at a minimum they were planning something as I spotted them earlier in the day and alerted Section IX to a possible assault. Baesal Zyn was among them, a Jedi now."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"A surprise to see Korriban's blademaster on Nar Shaddaa," Shaisha gives a brief bow of respect to the teacher. "... Baesal, you say? I was aware she was on the moon, as part of the Jedi, but she's leading Republic attacks on our assets?"

She frowns. "Were the other Republic agents fleeing the scene also Jedi, or...?"

She hands over a datapad with the images of the fleeing agents for Shaisha to look at.

Shaisha looks over the images, not looking very happy as she does.

"Another Jedi... saw her the other day at when the Jedi invited to a 'peaceful' lunch to speak about the Force," she says as she points out Yslane Tsilla. "And Captain Alderaan... Niall Organa. Not a Jedi though, but this isn't looking so good." The Alderaanian captain was identified as well. "Don't know about that odd-looking droid though."

"How did they know where to attack?"

[Dapper Dog]

Paz says, "Either they have excellent intel, which is a possibility or more likely we have a leak. Whoever, if it is a leak, will pay with their life."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"A leak does sound more probable," she agrees. "And the one responsibility will die."

She had been concerned about moves against them from other Sith, and she still had to consider that possibility.

"A good thing you were nearby, blademaster. Coincidence that you were just in the neighbourhood?" she asks Jaina, still not sure what the usually reclusive Sith was doing on Smuggler's Moon.

[Jaina Von]

"Sure, coincidence," she says folding her arms across her chest.

[Dapper Dog]

Paz says, "Fixer 71 was critically injured, she is under surgery but should recover. My team got out of that debacle with injuries but alive. Lost eight operatives, but here is the kicker there were three other explosions across Nar Shaddaa, the Hutts suppressed that information. Probably thinking it was the Crescent Shadow."

"All locations were suspected holdings of Darth Baras."

Shaisha's eyes narrows... damn that tight-lipped instructor.

Eight operatives... poodoo...

"Sounds like someone's hunting a 'ghost'," she says, still not buying that the grumpy old goat was dead, "think it could be Magpie, seeing as she is opposing herself to Baras?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Magpie has been the top of our list," Paz says looking at reports on his datapad.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

She nods. "Anything news on her?"

[Dapper Dog]

She nods. "Anything news on her?"

"She has been quiet thus far, maybe lean on Torsin," Paz says.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"I told him to check out some places where he might find her, the shell companies Fixer mentioned... haven't heard back from him, but then again, having you guys nearly blown to pieces tend to be a distraction." She offers Paz a brief smile. She did care about their well-being, after all. "And I figure he's been occupied with Serasai too. Heard that the Jedi attacked them yesterday on Hutta."

[Dapper Dog]

"So you are not concerned he has turned to side with his mother?" Paz says curiously.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"I was worried about it at first. Sylvain despises Baras, but... his dedication to the Empire is stronger, and he is making moves against her."

She shakes her head a little. "We grew up together; he sucks at keeping secrets from me."

[Dapper Dog]

"Maybe," Paz says not terribly convinced.

"Hating your master is pretty normal for you Sith, so that is nothing new."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha shrugs. "I don't hate my master, but I suspect I got a lucky draw."

"If you have suspicions or indications that I'm wrong on the matter of Sylvain Torsin, do speak your mind."

[Dapper Dog]

"Nothing concrete, he just smiles too much. Talks too much too," he says flatly.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

The unexpected answer makes Shaisha laugh briefly. "All correct. He's always been very punchable."

"But based on my interactions with him, and what I've seen and heard, he doesn't seem to be allied to Magpie, but he is trying to make her think he is. I could be wrong, of course... I'm not claiming to be infallible."

[Dapper Dog]

"Trying to play someone like Magpie seems like a bad idea, but I am not one to criticize the Sith for their bad ideas," Paz says honestly.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha had her doubts of Syl successfully pulling such a ruse on Raven Torsin as well... as Paz had said, he talks too much. So she nods once.

"... At least you guys will be safe here, right? I don't really feel like going to funerals in the near future."

[Dapper Dog]

"We are secure here," he says in reply.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Good."

"I will keep a closer eye on Sylvain, punch some answers out of him if need be. Will keep you updated if something major comes up. In the meantime," she tosses a datachit to him, "a few things for you guys to look over when you have the time."
