Vec took some time prior to his routine shift, to run a few laps in his workout gear around the barracks to keep in top shape. Even with the best booze and luxuries at his reach, it was no reason for a veteran to get lazy. If even needed a reminder, the last firefight had done a good job of shaking up the squad about the dangers of their profession.
He eventually slowed down to walking pace once he needed a breather, taking a moment to unravel the cobbled up bandages around his bare shoulder. He hadn't really seen anyone about it after taking that blaster hit as he figured he could just walk it off and keep away from whatever qualifies as 'rehab' in the Imperial Military.
