Sylvain had returned to his room after drinks with Layne and had sent a message to Kristal about meeting up again. Having not heard from Vengean again today, Sylvain began to think upon other ways of contacting him than the Massassi Queen. Shaisha had mentioned Jo'ren before, and hearing of the girls' plans the next day figured now was a good time to set up a meeting with him. Potentially assist in the mission they were headed to.
As such he picked up his communicator and dialed out to Jo'ren's ID number.

The music dimmed slightly as the big Sith was obviously looking for a quieter spot. It became a background thrum.

"Sith Rath, you appear to be enjoying yourself." Sylvain replied.
"I'll get to the point so as not to disturb your fun for too long. I've been meaning to speak with you about the new circumstances of my former master's death and now working for Vengean. I heard you were heading out to Makeb tonight to chase after the bounty posted for a particularly dangerous character. I was intending to travel with Kris and Shai tomorrow as well, but perhaps we could pool our transportation and you and I could discuss matters of importance concerning our new circumstances."
He paused, "I have no interest in taking a share of the bounty or anything... Perhaps I could run communications for you and provide back-up if need be. I also have a small arsenal that may be of some help... If it's used to keep Kris and Shai safe, then it's yours."

It was delivered deadpan, and with no cues it was impossible to tell if he was joking or not.
"Didn't you buy some shiny new armour for combat situations? Well, whatever, if we can squeeze you in then Comms and an escape route could be useful."

"If you need me on the ground I could be there too... I do have some 'shiny' new things." He chuckled.
"I'll prepare to leave... get my masked rigged up for being in a vacuum." He smiled playfully.
