Sylvain walked through the battered Imperial Compound in the morning on his way to a meeting with his master. The scene was quite different from what it had been the past week and a half, and Sylvain's mindset matched the surroundings. He waited patiently at the door to Baras' makeshift headquarters after making his presence known.

"You know my opinions on your actions concerning my father and how I believed you are subverting the Empire for your own benefit. My mother's methods were crude and inefficient... but when the opportunity came to remove a serious threat to the Empire I elected to take that chance. I see now that my decision was not the right one... you are stronger and more beneficial to the Empire than I would have liked to believe." He replied.
