Here's Looking At You (D11, ME Syl's)

Sylvain gathered the plates off of the table, now fully replaced, and took them over to the washer before pulling out a bottle of wine and a couple of glasses. He turned and smiled at Kris as she took a seat on the couch. He gave her a good look from head to toe and smiled charmingly as he came over and pulled a coffee table up next to the couch. His smile never left his lips as he poured the wine for he and Kris, looking over at her between the changing of the glasses.

Wearing her outfit from the other day, dark leather jacket over a dark grey shirt and sturdy dark grey pants. Kristal sat comfortably on the couch, her hands covered in night black gloves. Watching Sylvain as he moved about the room with a silent gaze and a smile in her cheeks.

He handed her a glass of wine and moved to sit next to her. He kissed her gently on the cheek once and held up his glass, "To broken tables and repaired relationships."

"Not to the peace talks resolution?" she asked with a raised brow, a raised glass, and a raised corner of her mouth. Offering that smirk that held her natural confidence.

He chuckled through his nose, "That too I suppose, though my influence on that is somewhat mixed."
He took a sip of his wine and then wrapped his arm around Kris' shoulder. "Peace..." He chuckled, "Sounds so foreign. All our lives there's been war..."
He smiled and kissed her on the side of her forehead, "So what does Marr's Champion do during times of peace?"

"Prepare for the inevitable re-ignition of this war," she says, relaxing comfortably beside him. "Become stronger, fix what I might of this Empire of ours and hold together what I may."
"Nothing too difficult."

He chuckled, "You always are so reasonable with your goals."
He rubbed her shoulder affectionately, "No time for a bit of a vacation on the horizon?"
