Holed up in his quarters, Cole logged on to the holonet. For four hours he was supposed to be answering anonymous questions from anyone with a few credits to spend on asking. In reality, at least sixty percent of the questions were trolling, and he banned their accounts without engaging. Another thirty-something percent he copy-and-pasted the same response over and over: see your local doctor and tell them what you told me. There was a medical student who had started out well with intelligent, thoughtful questions… until Cole realised she was trying to get him to write her assignment for her.

All in all, he figured he'd actually helped maybe three of four people. What a waste of time.
