The space the Republic had provided the war droid would be considered somewhat small by most people, but it had everything the droid required. A charging station, and a workshop equipped for HX's needs. Right now, the droid's upper body was exposed, as it was working with the new tools it had ordered through the senator's contacts. Pleased by their construction, HX would look down at the large blaster which was usually mostly inbedded into the droid's frame. The retraction coil required further tuning. While it functioned well enough to allow the droid to fire on a close target with more proficiency, HX found that it was still a bit stiff. By working it into the blaster's design, it might become capable of increasing the overall flexibility of the barrel in its entirety. HX's tool arms would carefully manipulate the mechanics of it, as it moved to position the blaster, letting the workshop's assisting infrastructure begin attaching the important weapon to HX's frame again, finally sealing up the casing as the weapon would move about to HX's will once's more, slinking in and out and whirling around with a higher response time.
