Is There a Doctor in the House? (D3 MA, Adrianaa's Room)

Adrianaa sat at her desk and read over a report on a datapad. In front of her two glasses and a decanter of a dark red liquid sat.

Having spread her propaganda message, Ashla headed Adrianaa's Room and knocked.

Adrianaa stands and walks to the door, opening it.

"Good afternoon! Please, come in!"

"Good to see ya." She waits until the door gets closed. "How did the meeting with the pirates go?"

[Adrianaa Morindel]

"So so. We need to find a rodian that has information on a lost Hutt treasure ship.Job pays 25k when we find the ship. Same rodian we rescued, actually."

[Ashla Vyliis]

"Not bad. Is there anything you need my help with?"

[Adrianaa Morindel]

Adrianaa pours a drink for both of them and hands Ashla a glass.

"Well, you said you had some skills. I was wondering of you could help track her down."

"Fredtrey has already been poking about, but I'm not sure what he has come up with, I've had a lot to do today"

[Ashla Vyliis]

Ashla nods. "I can do that. Is there anything particular you want me to take a look at?"

[Adrianaa Morindel]

"I was thinking perhaps your computer skills could come in handy. The Pirate Queen said she knows the Rodian did not leave the system yet. You might be able to hack into her credit account history, see if she has purchased any route out of here yet. The name you are looking for is Yasu Bindo"

Adrianaa raises her glass in a toast and then takes a sip

"If yuo can't find a credit history, maybe you can get into some of her network files. The Queen said the Rodian has information to find the lost Hutt ship."

[Ashla Vyliis]

"Sure. You got a setup here?"

[Adrianaa Morindel]

"There's a terminal at the work desk over there."

Adrianaa motions to the other wall.

"There's one last thing. The Queen wants the Rodian returned to her. I have an issue with that. The Sith who was at the meeting does not. If he gets to her first, a relatively innocent person is going to be tortured, staved, and locked in a cage to die. Not exactly something I want to be a part of. Zeno Deathwright is the Sith's name. Might want to keep an eye on port traffic in case he filed a flight plan. Could help lead us to her if he hasn't gotten her already."

[Dapper Dog]

OOC: Computers at hard with a setback die to not be noticed. Flipping a Republic destiny die for this to upgrade to one red and two purple.

Ashla goes to work. After a while, "I can't get in, but I don't think I've been noticed at least."

The system is complex and there seem to be active slicers keeping her from anything good, which means that Hutt security is actively looking for slicers… so someone somewhere done messed up pretty badly.

"Hmm.... It seems like the Hutts actively have splicers trying to stop any hacking. So, someone probably tried recently and failed hard."

[Adrianaa Morindel]

"I see. Hmm, this definitely complicates things. There is a Sith after her as well. He said he would work with us, but..."

Adrianaa frowns.

"I don't think he will keep the rodian from getting delivered to the Queen."

"If you can't get a computer trace, I wonder if it was because he was already there..."

[Ashla Vyliis]

Ashla shakes her head. "Let me make a few calls. I know a place or two where people go when they go to ground."

She finds out the mark they are looking fro might be at a Rodian bar in Uptown, according to her seedy sources.

"She might be at this rodian joint in Uptown. Here's the address."

[Adrianaa Morindel]

"Excellent. That's a start. Now to get someone there."

Adrianaa raps her finger on the desk in thought

HX would find itself at the door, the tool arm moving towards the port, as it reached for the door before the logic processors finished. Instead beaming a holocall to the senator, the Droid's image would appear, the lights on the front glowing up like their last call. "I have arrived Senator."

[Adrianaa Morindel]

"Please, enter HX."

Adrianaa motions towards Ashla.

"Ashla, HX. HX, Ashla."

"I'm glad you could make it. There is a person I need you to try and retrieve."

"Ashla, can you explain to HX where you found her location at?"

((OOC: Zeno has already found her, so you won't be able to. But for time paradox reasons, we should at least set up that there was a search))

"Yo." Ashla greets the droid.

"I made some contacts and discovered the rodian is at a rodian bar in Uptown. Here's the address." Ashla gives the address to the rodian.

[Adrianaa Morindel]

"If you are unable to reach her before another hunter gets her, we might have to enact a different means of springing her later on, though it will become infinitely more complicated. The Pirate Queen wants her, and if she gets delivered, I am not sure how we will be able to get the rodian to go free."

She looks at the blaster the droid carries.

"I suppose if all else fails, we could try blasting... but to make all of the pirates on that rock our enemy would be a bad move."

"Pirates indicates a likely bounty. Should brute force be required, we should also turn in the heads for credits. This is the only acceptable reason for that kind of trouble. This task requires pay, up front, Senator. If you merely wish for surveillance, protection, or sniping, those tasks can be handled with less strict measures."
