Nar Shaddaa

Moyr got back to the intel offices, having sent Watcher-5 the chems the night before.

Watcher 5 has an interrogation chamber set aside for the task ahead. He waits inside with his hands behind his back staring at the chair. He says as she enters, "Moyr Ahaya, apprentice to Darth Jadus. Korriban graduate, did excellent on Balmorra, and made contacts with the Mandalorians."

"Darth Zash wishes you dead. You work with a Jedi Baesal Zyn... a traitor to see that she dies first. You tolerate her, may even hold affection for her. Genuine affection. That is novel among the Sith."

"Are you ready?" he asks not looking at her.

She didn't comment on his assertions. The truth about her affections belonged to her mind alone.

"I won't be more ready. I am determined to succeed." She said not looking at him.

"Sit down then," he says in response.

She did. "Ingestion or injection?" She closed her eyes for a moment to cling to the subtle vacillations of the Dark Side from the artifact concealing her face.

"Injection."

He says before strapping her into the chair. Watcher 5 adds, "Focus on my voice and repeat after me, Aura-Basu-Chana-Doci."

He begins the injection.

My passion is my strength. She closed her eyes and summoned her hatred and loathing for Zash and Zhorrid to steel herself to withstand the presence of the drug, to face its effect.

"Good, now just give the serum time to take effect," Watcher 5 says.

"This should strengthen your connection to your Master, I am sure you know what to do from here."

Moyr's mind became hazed, fumed, until she willed contours upon it, formed them into a visual construct of a many-door corridor. And then she started pushing forth, sundering the black steel before her with the vicious glow of her lightsabre.

"Master. Master!" She called with resolve, following her senses through the bloodily illuminated twilight.

She can feel him long before she can hear his voice, "Moyr, I did not expect you."

She cannot see him, but his presence in the Force is distinct.

"It's a distinct pleasure to be able to surprise you, Master." She chuckled with schadenfreude. "But you have not chosen an apprentice who gives up easily. Your disappearance was sudden, your instructions insufficient or maybe sabotaged before they reached me. I am aware you are or soon might be in grave danger. And your daughter has started to play usurpation games in your absence, calling me her apprentice!" Moyr released some of her anger. "I have faith in your reasons and plans, but I don't like being neglected. For one, I have secured the weapon the Black Star has constructed, and I want to know where I am supposed to deliver it."

"Return it to the Empire. My daughter acts as she has been conditioned to act. Just as you have been conditioned to act. She can say what she likes, the truth will be obvious," he says to her from the shadows.

"I assume once the congregating on Nar Shaddaa adjourns, or earlier?"

She paused.

"If I am compelled or given an opportunity to kill her because of her actions, do I have your permission to do so?"

"Of course not, she has value to me. She is mine to punish or reward as I see fit, apprentice," Jadus replies.

That only fuelled Moyr's anger, but she stored it for later, starting to understand the bigger picture.

"Do you have any requests or expectations of me for the remainder of my stay in the Y'toub system?"

"You have done what I needed, I have nothing else," Jadus replies.

"I must rest now."

"Of course, Master. May the Force be with you."

She mentally stepped away, heading back through the corridor of sundered doors. She tried not to be disappointed, but it was futile, so she just gave it free reign.

Moyr's discipline was apparently non-existent after this encounter.

Moyr is going into seizures as she tries to pull herself out of the fugue state. Her memories and visions turn dark as she relives the worst memories of her life.

OOC: Moyr suffers a critical injury, go ahead and roll on the table 1d100. May make another Discipline roll, if she fails make another Critical Injury at +10. Hard with a setback. She can suffer a strain to add her Force Rating, if she does so and the roll fails add an additional +10 to the Critical Injury.

Narrated by her own singing voice coming from nowhere, the full memory unfolded again, with all its painful detail. Her breath was stolen, her tears were forced out of searing eyes. Convulsions prevented any shot at regaining resolve.

But when she noticed the blonde Darth approaching her with a taunting smile, she pushed back, to the best of her abilities, with all the Force lingering in her. But the Dark Side turned away from her weakness. The calm returned, but its buoying influence was of a different kind.

Moyr wakes up strapped to the chair, after some time with a shot of adrenaline or the twi'lek equivalent and is roused from the stress in pain and misery. A serious headache and the calm face of Watcher 5 stepping back and looking at her silently.

OOC: Moyr is at 1 strain out of her pool.

A few deep breaths allowed her to lift herself in her seat.

Most of the mental pain remained, but it was unfocused, hazy, dispersed.

"I made contact." She said with unusual raspiness to her melodic voice.

"Your survival is commendable. You are my first successful test subject," he says calmly.

"There's a first time for everything." She smiled weakly, happy to learn this after it had been done. "It was a rough ride. For me, getting out was more difficult than getting in."
