Dressed like a proper Sith, Kristal made her way to the Imperial Intelligence section of the compound after her early morning visits. Now with a quick stim acting upon her body the pain she experienced despite her loss of limb and surgery the past evening was down to negligible levels. However, it did managed to put a damper on her mood which gave her a rather appropriate scowl for the meeting she had in mind.
"Kristal Serasai to see Watcher-5," she said, any hesitation was simply greeted with a much more dour, "Immediately."

They show her into a control center empty but for a single person, Watcher 5 as he stands with arms crossed behind him processing visual information from dozens of screens and data feeds. He says as Kristal enters, "Kristal Serasai, Sith... daughter of a traitor to the Empire. Unlikely. Deception not a strong trait within the Serasai. Setup. Sith machinations."
"I hear a limp, new prosthetic limb, still adjusting to the new condition."
He turns and says, "Sylvain should not have involved you in the operation, it added a dangerous variable."
"I am a busy man, so please be succinct."

This was certainly the first time she had, as far as she knew, spoken directly to a Watcher. Coupled with the briefing at the begining of her time here he wass painting quite the picture of the position. Based off the information Sylvain surely afforded her of what had happened, she had painted a pretty clear picture of the events as they truly transpired.
"To the point then, do you make it a habit of sending Sith to die or was it a newly developed hobby of yours?" she added the unlikely option before the one that was far more to what she was considering. "Or perhaps it had been requested of you?"
"You surely know as well as I the likelihood of Sylvain surviving that encounter with that Mirialan Jedi present was unlikely at best. That is, if I had not been there. Or merely you did not care enough for the life of a Sith that you did not even consider who the Republic might send."

"The value of a Sith life is no greater than any other Imperial asset despite their ranting otherwise. In fact in many cases Sith become obstacles to victory," Watcher 5 says.
"The gains far outweighed the possible losses."
"War is impersonal," he finishes.

"You would mislead someone into sacrificing themselves for the Empire?" she asked, incredulous. Demanding now, "What was gained that could have been worth that price?"

"Information."
"Our high command make decisions that send thousands of our soldiers to their deaths for less," he responds.
"Are we done here, I have operations to coordinate."

"They go into battle knowing what they face. What you have done here was needless. There are other ways to deliver someone into the hands of another. I fail to see what the attempted sacrifice of a life accomplished there Watcher," she says, utterly disappointed by his refusal to be anything but helpful.

"That is naive, Sith. Soldiers are taught they will die, trained to be inured to it. Conditioned to believe that death for their cause has meaning. The reality is that war is calculus. No single soldier wins a war, no single Sith. In a war involving billions, one death does not register as significant," Watcher 5 responds.
"My calculation was correct, you lost a limb. It isn't your first prosthetic and most likely not your last," he adds turning to her to now. "Are you mad because you were injured or because you realized you are simply one more number in the Imperial war machine? Given your Sith code, this should strengthen you."

"I find your methods suspect Watcher," she opened with, squaring her shoulders as was her custom. "That Sylvain would have requested my support on such a mission was not an unlikely event. One you surely would have accounted for. One that you proceeded along with the operation in spite of. Now that it has transpired I would know precisely what we have gained from this. I would know what you have deemed the possibility of both of our lives was worth to acquire."
"I would have you tell me exactly what you have learned," she demanded. Kristal Serasai would know what the Empire, or specifically Watcher-5 would deem that she was worth.

"Classified, all complaints can be taken up with the Minister of Intelligence." Watcher 5 looks at a screen of data and says, "Reliance on force of character, honorable. Belief in justice. Emotional attachment to Sylvain Torsin. Inflection in voice. Military bearing. Reliance on strength."
"Your efforts would be better served tracking down Magpie."

It was clear the woman was not pleased, but not in the traditional sense of a Sith. Instead of loud Kristal preferred silent and cold. Certainly making it quite the difficult thing to tell in comparison to other Sith had he not been so apt at reading people, it was his job after all.
Notably, the Sith that bore the name Serasai turned from the man and exited without another word.
