Moyr entered the Cantina dressed in a way she had often been dressed back on Korriban, a jacket over tight tapewear. She looked around, then appealingly sat by the bar on a tall chair, ordering Dorian Quill on the rocks.

Salreia slipped up beside Moyr, a playful smile on her face. She turned to the bartender and ordered a Purple Haze before turning back to the twi'lek. "Red and blue go well together," she mused.

"Is it a Chiss thing to compliment themselves?" Moyr turned toward the new arrival. "Not that I disagree." She used it as an excuse to look into the other woman's eyes. "I am Moyr."

The woman smirked. "Have met another Chiss that does so? Oh, and call me Salreia," she purred.

"No, actually. Your kin, Salreia, is not exactly this easy to encounter. Quality over quantity, I suppose?" Moyr chuckled softly.

"I suppose many of the Ascendancy are reclusive," she mused, "I can think of only one other Chiss here on this moon and he is an exile." She took her purple-colored drink and held it close to her lips. "Quality over quantity then," she said before taking her first sip.

"Well, this is the moment a Twi'lek could feel inferior." Moyr chuckled, taking a sip of her Quill. "But I am a Lethan."

"A Lethan twi'lek is rarer than a Chiss, I believe. So that makes us two very unique women in a very unique cantina."

"Where does that scale on the probability chart? I think we're just missing our once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win great money in Vertica."

"Ah, but if we were at Club Vertica then I would be hounded by other frequent goers. Here I get to focus all of my attention on you." She took another sip. "And I consider that incredibly fortunate."

"Truly? Then all I can do is to reciprocate that sentiment." She moved her glass to clink against Salreia's. "The question remains how we might capitalise on this stroke of luck if not through gambling."

"Well here I was thinking that conversing was our way of capitalizing on such luck." She batted her eyelashes at Moyr. "I suppose I am a worse conversationalist than I imagined."

Moyr smirked. "I'd rather take it as an admission that I am a good one if in your mind you've truly committed to a conversation rather than just a small talk at the bar."

"By all means, please take the compliment," Salreia replied, followed by a sultry laugh. "I don't recall seeing you there at Club Vertica. I assume you are not a fan of the scene there. If that is the case, then what do you usually like to do?"

"The Uptown is too sterile and orderly for me. I enjoy the motley atmosphere and the pinch of chaos one can find at Mezenti or at the Neon Wonderland." Moyr smiled mysteriously, then took a sip of her whiskey after swirling the ice cubes.

"Ah. That would explain the fashion sense," the Chiss teased, "I suppose it should come to no surprise that, in my case, I enjoy the rigidness of upper class society."

"I hardly blame you for it. You would be far less interesting if we were too similar."
Moyr's brow arched slightly.
"Besides, what a Sith would I be if I did not deal with wild and unpredictable."

"What a shame that would be." The blue woman took a sip from her glass and gave a sideways glance to Moyr. She then let out a sultry laugh and rested her cheek on her palm. "I thought some Sith were the exact opposite. Orderly and rigid. I suppose those are the ones they sent to deal with the Chiss Ascendency."
A pause. "Though in this moment, I prefer wild and unpredictable."

"I suppose that's the way it goes when a Sith is not making an effort to keep the passion burning as the time goes by."
Moyr returned the gaze from her own peripheral, the corners of her lips slightly curving up.
"I don't think that scenario is my fate though. I've taken it to heart that passion fuels everything that matters."

"I suppose that leads me to one question: what are your passions, my Lord?"

"I am an adventurous type. I like the thrill it brings to venture into the unknown."

"That would be in line with your adoration of the lower levels of this moon. But I can only imagine it does not compare to the tombs of Korriban or the forests of Yavin, my Lord."

"Presumably. But then, there is Nal Hutta. It's not the most aesthetic of places but a challenging one nonetheless." Moyr mused. "What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done, Salreia?"

"I cannot claim to be particularly adventurous. My preferred battlefield is the courts and such." Salreia ran a hand through her hair. "I like to keep myself looking neat too."

Moyr gave her a longer shameless look, using her words as an excuse to take measure of that neatness. "You undoubtedly succeed." A small smirk might indicate she wanted to say something more, but she dipped her lips in whiskey instead.
