Day 9 LM: Pinky and the Brain

[Aphr Ahaya]

"Yeah, you could say that" Aphr said with a slight chuckle, shaking her head "it's been a long few days, with many testing situations. I'm starting to feel less...held down by them though, I just need to focus my mind and face my fear."

[Dapper Dog]

“You are stronger than you think, it may not be the strength we think of but strength is not always in conquering our obstacles but simply trying to do the best we can. Being strong is not always easy but it is not beyond any of us to try. Facing your fear is a good step, dearie,” she says with comfort.

[Aphr Ahaya]

Aphr smiled, and nodded. "I hear that a lot....from everyone" there was a small chuckle "I don't...I'm not seeing it, but I think I'm starting to understand better where my strength is. I just need to see if I'm right."

[Dapper Dog]

"Mentors and us old folks often see what others cannot, mostly it's because I am going blind," the old Jedi jokes.

[Aphr Ahaya]

Aphr laughed. "I'm sure you'll never be truly blind as long as the Force guides you, right?"

She paused, and then added "um...have you heard of a Vayana? Vayana Ahaya."

[Dapper Dog]

"It's an old name, but yes I have, relative of yours?" Master Thun asks.

[Aphr Ahaya]

"Yes" Aphr nodded "although I'm not sure how long ago, as my family didn't keep a good family tree really."

[Dapper Dog]

"I was your age when I first met her, still a padawan," Master Thun says, "She was a good role model, a bit of a stickler for the details but fair and well versed in the Force."

[Aphr Ahaya]

"How did she die?" Aphr asked.

[Dapper Dog]

"Gentle, in her sleep she was an old and wise woman and met her time with grace and beauty," Resmi responds.

[Aphr Ahaya]

Aphr smiled.

"Thank you. I'm sorry for all the...strange questions. She...well...spoke to me, and I wanted to know more about her as I never knew she existed before now."

[Dapper Dog]

"It is no trouble, you can twist my ear all day," Resmi responds.
