"Hey there, I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" Zuraa smiled deferentially and bowed her head. "I'm Zuraa, Padawan under Master Mersl." she held up her hand. "And I wanted to say that I'm impressed. From what I heard, you got her to admit fault." She crossed her arms afterward and sighed. "She never does that for me."

Baesal had been focused on her silver lightsaber crystal, having it over between her two outstreched hands and covered in blueish sparks

''Oh, well...I was finishing anyway.'' she replied

''Nice to meet you Zuraa'' she said rising from her seat '' I am Baesal Zyn''

Her crystal fell into her left hand and she outstretched the over for a hand shake

The Falleen smiled and took the hand. "Baesal and her," she paused, looking at her crystal, "Oo, nice. I don't see a lot silver lightsabers around. Where did you find that one?"

''I made it myself'' she replied with a smirk

''I altered the crystal to give that hue so I could remember a friend''

"Oh! I didn't know you could even do that!" The Falleen smiled faintly. "What happened to that friend?"

''His soul got devoured by a Sith Lord using an ancient Dark Side ritual in order to increase her own power...'' she looked at the crystal

''Nothing I could do back then''

"Huh. That is both shocking and not at all at the same time." Zuraa sighed. "Some of those Sith deserve anything that's coming for them."

"That is true...many do not start as bad peep but they are still responsable for what they do"

She frowned as she remembered the scene, the smell and Gerald's single scream

"For some, I wonder if ever they were ever truly anything but monsters."

"Well, my only experience with them is bloodthirsty sociopaths. This has been different, in a sense; we aren't in active war against them." She shook her head. "They know how to send the 'nice' ones here while the murderers rampage through the galaxy."

''They play a good game, we have to give them that'' she said agreeing

''One of the problems we have is our side treat theirs with all the care in the world and they know how to expoit that...they revel in our fear of them''

"I'm not sure if it's always fear. Sometimes it's pure disgust." Zuraa sighed and shook her head. "Their lead Sith gives me the creeps. I can't believe he even has children.'

''Maybe it was'nt a question of choice...maybe the mother wanted power enough too...''

She began to look pale and on the verge of vomiting

"Or perhaps one time he was more, well, attractive?" She shrugged. "I can't even fathom wanting to be around a man like that even if he wasn't so grotesque."

''The Dark Side corrupts those that rely on it for power'' she said reaching for a glass of water

"His children are even worse, from what I've seen. Completely out of control."

"I could not say, never met them."

She leaned back

"Anyway, you said something about master Mersl?"

"Oh, she's my master. I was just told later about how you called her out for doing another one of her whacky things."

''Oh yeah. The drugging the dinner of participants without their consent is not merely whacky...I find it to be dangerous''

Zuraa shrugged. "I guess I've gotten used to her choosing strange methods."

''Not too much I hope'' she replied without being too sur eon how to proceed

''Have you been her padawan for long?''

The Falleen giggled. "Yeah, definitely. I don't want to become her exact successor. Bleh. As for how long I've been with her, a few years at this point. Sometimes I question why she even chose me. It's not like we're a great match."

The togruta smirked

''Perhaps you are a better match then you know''

"Oh? What would make you think that?" Zuraa kept a slight smirk, genuinely curious.

''I think the master can learn as much as the student''

She steeples her fingers observing the padawan

''By taking on someone with a different temperament, she challenges herself and her belief. Well, that would be my idea.''
