[Zanebry Varliss]

His lips curled into a smile and he laughed. "You've got me there beautiful."

"Perhaps I should try harder to look more faithful to those I really care for." He took a sip of his wine. "Or would that be too weird?"

[Arsele Girard]

"As weird as me being less flirty, to be fair."

Soup finished, Arsele set her spoon on the plate the bowl was on.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"That would be pretty weird." He mused, teasing evident in his tone if not his features.

Glancing down at her finished meal he offered her a smile. "So, when might be a good time for that dancing we spoke about?"

[Arsele Girard]

"I thought you had other questions about that though..." she said curiously, looking Zane in the eyes.

[Zanebry Varliss]

He couldnt help but chuckle, before letting his eyes match hers. "I do. But we have a date for dancing don't we?" His tone turned teasing. "Just the two of us, I believe you said."

[Arsele Girard]

"I wouldn't lie about that. Just name the time and place."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I know you wouldn't" He smiled softly. "I just wanted to remind you that not all our talk of dances were of the private type." He was somewhat pleased that's where her line of thought went though.

"Tomorrow night perhaps? Later in the day? When the music is low and sexy? It would be then or the day after."

[Arsele Girard]

"At Ritt's then?"

She wanted to clarify first.

[Zanebry Varliss]

He picked up the bottle of wine, offering to refill her glass, before adding a little to his. "I was thinking the Hollow. It's small but the music is usually good, a lot less crowded to."

"It's the place I mentioned as someplace we could play."

[Arsele Girard]

"Ah, right; Never sang there."

She held out her glass as she looked down at the table cloth thoughtfully, "Hm... I'm thinking the night after then?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

He'd fill it half way, setting the bottle on the table after he was done filling his. "The day after tomorrow then." It'd give him some time to prepares. "Perhaps I'll dress a little snazzier then usual myself."

[Arsele Girard]

"Snazzier? Than usual? Now THAT would be something to see; Not so much to say anything I mean about that beyond it will be interesting what you consider snazzy."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I suppose you'll just have to look forward to it then." He said with a light chuckle. "It's supposed to be a special occasion after all. I can't just dress as usual."

[Arsele Girard]

"...I don't think I've seen you dressed any other way, come to think of it; Kind of an oddity in a way."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I generally don't dress any other way my dear." He let out a small chuckle. "People expect me to look like this, so should I ever have to dress like something else. People will be less likely to think that it's me."

His tone changed as he did tried to imitate Galen. "Is that Zane? No can't be, he's not wearing his hat." He offered her a wink. "That's our little secret though."

[Arsele Girard]

Arsele smirked as the waiter cleared their plates, "I don't think I could mistake you for anyone else whatever you wore Zanebry Varliss; There are many more distinct things to you than just the way you dress."

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Do you mind if I take that as a compliment?" He asked with a light chuckle. "I am curious though as to what you find so distinctive." There was a playful twinkle in his eyes as he watched her.

[Arsele Girard]

"Yeah, you can take that one however you want; I'm certainly not stopping you."

Arsele leaned forward on to the back of her hands, "And if you must ask, certainly your mannerisms around me, your way of speaking, your sense of humour..."

[Zanebry Varliss]

He leaned forward as well, leaning on the table to match her. "Mmm... Well I know you think that last one at least is pretty terrible" He teased. "Still it's good to know I leave an Impression."'

[Arsele Girard]

"All of you is terrible... but strangely comforting at the same time. ...I suppose that's another thing you can choose to take as a compliment or not, hm?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

He snorted his lips curling into a slender smile. "I know I'm terrible. Comforting though? I don't think I ever expected to be called that." He looked her in the eyes. "So yes I'll take that as a compliment. especially from you."

[Arsele Girard]

She puts on a faux pout, "Now why wouldn't you expect that? Are you saying you're not always trying to be considerate?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"To you beautiful? Always." His eyes drifted to her lips fore a moment before drifting up again to meet hers. "It's some of the others out there that have to deal with my less refined side."

[Arsele Girard]

"Well, sure; But I never said you were a comfort to those people," she stated, matter-of-factly.

[Zanebry Varliss]

That caused him to laugh as he sat back in his chair, offering her a wry smile. "it's time like this I really want to kiss you." He replied a tiny note of teasing in his tone.
