"I suppose glory is good when it translates into legacy that can inspire others. But legacy is not defensible without the power necessary to secure it." She mused, examining the cheeses. Before she would help herself to any, she looked up at him.
"In all honesty I think you are not. You have an ephemeral sense of it perhaps, but it is not a true freedom as long as there are much and many to take it from you. In this sense I am not free either. Yet. The true freedom is what the Force endows us with closer to the end of our paths, once we've overcome those who have wanted to thwart us. And that in turn can be accomplished only by mastering of the self and by acquiring sufficient means to act on our drives. It's never given or granted, it has to be claimed."
