Pool Party (D11, Late Afternoon, Shai's place)

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Alysele glanced at Niall's foot with concern. She didn't say a word though.

"So you assume we will require copious amount of alcohol to muddle through the minutiae of the peace process, when we return home?"

"Of course," the Sith chuckled. "It's not every day that the Republic and the Empire can agree on one thing... and it's bound to cause a lot of headaches on both sides."

[Alysele Cortess]

"Good to know we're on the same page then." She smiled at Niall. "Thanks for the invite."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"No problem. I regret not having had the time to speak to you more, but I hear my companion Jo'ren took good care of you in your hunt for the Morgukai." There was a lot of approval in the nod she gave to Alysele. "Well done on that matter. You've avenged at least one dead Sith Lord."

[Niall Organa]

"Captain Al--errr, Organa, and Alysele, welcome," Shaisha greeted the newcomers. "Open bar, so help yourselves. Glad to see you could make it."

"You know, I think that nickname is starting to grow on me." Niall said dryly. "I can only hope that the Republic military has started to pick it up. Maybe it'll beat me to my next deployment."

It was hard to tell how much he was joking.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"The name suits you," she teased in return. Unlike some others, she was skilled at the fluctuations and change in tone. "I bet if I ever fly into Republic space, I'll see your face plastered all over the place to serve as some sort recruitment drive-idol for the military."

[Niall Organa]

"Maybe." Niall said. His tone was still dry, but he was smiling. "If I ever go into Imperial space... well, I expect I just have to look for trouble, and I'll find you sooner or later."

After a quick glance at Aly, he leaned a little closer. "Thanks, Shaisha. And not just for the open bar. For everything."

[Cole Ormont]

"I bet if I ever fly into Republic space, I'll see your face plastered all over the place to serve as some sort recruitment drive-idol for the military."

Cole quietly groaned, half an ear on the other conversations around him. He could absolutely see that happening, and Captain Alderaan playing it to the hilt. It was giving him doubts about not leaving with the Imperial side, but at least he was already enlisted and didn't need recruiting.

Catching up on the groan, Shaisha gave a brief wink in Cole's direction before giving Niall her full attention again.

"Trouble is putting it mildly; I will impart my will upon the galaxy and see it realised to its full potentials," she said with the cool confidence of a Sith. "This peace, though fragile, will serve well."

[Niall Organa]

"Oh." Niall blinked. "I see." Of the many things that he had to adjust to when talking with Sith, it was the casual megalomaniacal declarations that caused him the most trouble.

He nodded. "Well then, good luck, I suppose. I'm going to stay in the military, of course." By comparison, it sounded rather mundane. "My tour of duty isn't yet half finished."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

She nodded. Some people just lacked ambition, such was the way of the galaxy.

"So the next time I hear of Niall Organa, you'll probably be of a higher rank then, I assume. Do they have anything like a Moff in the Republic...?"

[Darth Xevious]

The idea was so ridiculous he had to see it for himself and so there he was with his twins flanking him. He gazed over the party, he had conquered the Republic and brought peace, now he would conquer the bar and lounge in the pool. He had earned a moment of rest.

Serani wore a stylish suit, a two piece of holo-latex, then changed colors and designs as she moved. Fildon stripped down to some shorts and jumped in and made sure to show all the handsome men just how awesome he was.

Xevious found a corner of the pool, put on shades, and sipped his drink in peace. Lord Valar stood behind him in stoic silence in full armor.

[Kristal Serasai]

Kristal was there, of course, and had found a chair to lounge in with a drink nearby as she laid out comfortably with her head back. Wearing a regal white two piece swim-suit she reminded those that underneath all of the armor was the daughter of a once proud and esteemed noble Imperial family. Having the single exception to her smooth skin on display for all to see, her Cybernetic replacement that began at the elbow of her left arm. Not displayed nor hidden the Serasai woman had come to terms with her new appearance.

A Champion of Marr's cause, she too had earned herself at least a few hours of respite in the wake of the agreements for peace.

[Niall Organa]

She nodded. Some people just lacked ambition, such was the way of the galaxy.

"So the next time I hear of Niall Organa, you'll probably be of a higher rank then, I assume. Do they have anything like a Moff in the Republic...?"

"Perhaps." Niall said. "My promotion to Captain is recent enough. My next one may take a little longer. Depends on when you next see me." He frowned. "And no, not as I understand it. Moff is both a political and a military rank, isn't it? They make us pick, in the Republic. I would guess the closest equivalent would be Sector Force Commander."

He glanced over, his eyes going up just a little as Xevious decidedly claimed a spot by the pool. "I'm going to get a drink." He said, his tone firm. He softened just a little, glancing at Aly. "Can I get you anything?" He'd take her request before moving to the bar.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

An uncomfortable shudder went down her spine as Xevious appeared, and she realised it was probably her own fault for inviting the twins to begin with... or he had just invited himself, the fat jerk.

At least Fildon wasn't bad to look at, she had to admit. It seemed almost hard to believe the two were related.

"Yes... both political and military," she said, a little distracted. "Well, enjoy yourselves," Shaisha put on her best host-smile and stepped away from the Republic-duo.

She was the host, after all, so she had to greet the new arrivals. "Darth Xevious," she bowed as she approached the Dark Councillor. "I'm surprised such a small gathering was of interest to a man of your status, but an honor nonetheless to have a member of the Dark Council present, as well as your family."

[Durasay Mixo]

Durasay didn't want to appear rude. He had taken the invitation, and decided to make an appearance. He had told Craw and Nudimsu where he would be, and they were welcome to come with him.

Casual didn't really fit with him, but he certainly dressed down somewhat. The crossflap on his uniform undone, a backpack slung over his shoulders with his swimsuit and towel.

He looked around the party as he walked in. Smiling at those he knew. His gaze lingered on Alysele... and noted that she was with Niall. It was like a relief, almost.

He stopped feeling so guilty. He would of course say hello to Shaisha as the host, but she seemed busy at the moment.

So he chose to walk to Alysele and Niall.

"Hey."

[Galen Sol]

Galen was making his second sonic servodriver when the new guests arrived. He had no idea who they were, but it was clear who held authority. It was an interesting development.

He added more gin to his drink and found a remote seat beside the pool.

[Jo'ren Rath]

The Dark Hero they all deserved arrived fashionably late. He was brimming with confidence and had a spring in his step. He was also carrying a barrel of Bloodwine.

"Present for you Shaisha. Evening everyone." He gave a respectful nod to the Darth in the swimming pool and then surveyed the rest of the guests.

[Vec Gunnar]

At first, Vec was going to make a casual cameo to this little soiree. He didn't see himself the sort to take part in some pool volleyball or any other poolside activities the young ones took part in. However, the presence of Darth Xevious made the casual drop in difficult when there was work to be done. Vec and the remainder of his squad stood around to provide security for the Dark Lord and his children.

Niall, on his way to the bar, slowed. Or rather, stopped. He already wasn't moving that quickly, with his mild limp.

"Durasay. Welcome." Niall nodded politely. "I was just on my way to the bar. A drink suddenly seemed like a very good idea." His eyes flickered over to the lounging Dark Councillor. "Can I get you anything?"

[Durasay Mixo]

"Niall. Good to see you again." He smiled genuinely at the man, before looking at Darth Xevious. While he wouldn't say he owed the Dark Lord anything, for freeing Craw's mother, he didn't want to push his luck.

"I'll take one of whatever you're having."

[Cole Ormont]

Cole was unable to restrain himself any longer. Though he'd only just approached the young Twi'lek, he pressed the glass of mint julep on her and hissed, "I'm sorry, I just need to," and he moved to the Captain's side.

"Dammit, Captain, if you managed to hurt yourself, why didn't you call me?" He had his kit with him, despite his casual wear. His kit was never far from hand.

[Niall Organa]

"Sure thing." Niall said, nodding.

This time, though, he was stopped by Cole. Niall's eyes widened as the doctor rushed over. "Cole, I'm fine." He said, gritting his teeth just a little. He looked around sheepishly, his gaze lingering on Aly. "It's nothing. Leave it, please."

The hazard of being in a relationship with someone who nearly always wore sharp things on her feet. Niall shot Cole a pleading look.

[Cole Ormont]

Cole shrugged. The Captain could have a fracture, but the Captain could have also done something about it before now, let him limp, then. He sauntered the two strides back to Aphr's side, swirling his drink to make the ice cubes clink pleasantly against the glass.

[Remmington Thalalas]

Remmington nods. "Thanks Shaisha." He goes to get a drink and mingle with the rest of the crowd. He offers the pool Darth a respectful bow and bids greetings to the others in general. He stops by Kristal to talk since he hadn't spoken with her in months and only briefly saw her at a meeting.

"Greetings lady Kristal. I hope you have been well since we last spoke."

[Aphr Ahaya]

Cole liked his whiskey sour simple and tart: whiskey, lemon juice, two ice cubes, and a cherry soaking up the booze at the bottom. It wasn't everyone's taste, so he got a mint julep and moved over to Aphr, offering the sweet drink to her.

"Excited for the next step?" he asked the young Twi'lek.

Aphr accepted the drink with a smile, but she was reserved with her "I think so." It was all she managed to say before Cole had to dash away and save the world! Or something about Niall. It meant Aphr could watch the arrival of an actual Darth. The man looked like he'd kill her by sitting on her, but she had no doubts his fighting skills would be more terrifying.

It meant she missed Coles return before the clinking ice cubes got her attention.

"Oh, hey. Sorry, is Niall ok?"
