"We all eventually break from our masters in one way or another... I would prefer to see Baras' destruction serve a purpose rather than simply act as a stepping stone for some thug." He shrugged.

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Well I wouldn't call you a thug," Yslane teased, "More....a rake."

"But I see. Seems a bit counterproductive to me. Sacrificing experienced teachers to advance in society."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He shook his head, "I'm not the thug my dear..."

He chuckled, "Baras' schemes have been just as destructive to the Empire at times as the Republic. Those who are fixated on the Sith Code and its more radical tenets doom us to failure time and time again. Baras is a powerful Sith.. but 'teacher' is not a title I would truly apply to him. He is a manipulator. When his manipulations are in the best interests of the Empire, I am more that happy to work with him... when he threatens the Empire, then I will be more than pleased to remove his counterproductive presence."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"And is he counterproductive?" Yslane smiled, then fell silent as the food was delivered. As soon as the door shut again she turned her attention back to Torsin.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "I consider him to be counterproductive, yes. He is far too self-centered. He would see the entire galaxy destroyed if it meant he could rule over the ruins."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Isn't that many of your fellow Sith?" Yslane dipped her head, her expression more serious. "Do you think he is up to something then?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "There is never a time he is not. But I'm not about to commit treason and aid a Jedi in intelligence gathering."

[Yslane Tssilla]

Yslane waggles her finger, "Not even one that is reasonably tolerable for a Jedi?" She manages a pleading look before chuckling.

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Not even my weakness for level headed blondes will avail you." He chuckled.

"And your interest in Baras... I assume it's a pressing issue for you which has brought this to your mind?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"A powerful Sith Lord with a reputation like his?" Yslane shook her head and took a bite of omelet. "Why wouldn't we be interested."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "I suppose so."

[Yslane Tssilla]

She tries another bite of omelet, "This is pretty good actually..." Yslane smiles, "I'm surprised at you. Admitting a weakness, not very Sith like." She runs a hand through her hair slowly, "I'll have to pass that on to Republic Intelligence for when you are on the Dark Council."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "When I am on the Dark Council it will be painfully obvious who the blonde I am referring to is."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I hear powerful individuals sometimes take concubines," She pops another bit of food into her mouth, "We just have to find the right person."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "You have grossly mis-assessed this target if you believe concubines to be a possibility for me."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Oh power changes a man," Yslane smiles, "But this is just a bit of fun at your expense. I am still a Jedi so occasionally I have to act a little hostile. Appearances and all that." She takes another bite. "....how did you acquire a taste for nexu?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Speeder crash into a nest of them with my friends... Rough fight... had to kill a couple. Came out with a few scars, and a few memories. Took one of them back and roasted it up." He said as he ate his own nexu sausage.

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Must have been some fight....if you felt the need to eat one later," She chuckled, "I remember you mentioning the accident earlier but speeder accident to nexu fillet is a bit of an odd journey."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Plenty of odd journeys in my youth with those two..." He chuckled.

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Your sister and the other friend?" Yslane confirmed, "Do you still find yourself in such odd entanglements with them?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "Yeah... seems trouble follows us around a bit. But we tend to find our way out."

[Yslane Tssilla]

"I can't say I have had anything similar," She takes another bite, "The Temple life is, unsurprisingly, calm."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Shaisha would hate your life." He smiled. "How'd you build camaraderie with your pupils if not through obstacles?"

[Yslane Tssilla]

"Oh there were challenges and trials to help push our growth," She smiled, "But jumping into a speeder and crashing into a next of nexu? Nothing like that."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Then you haven't lived..." he said with a smile. "Study sessions and mean teachers who snap their fingers when you're talking in class isn't nearly as enjoyable as a nexu nest."
