He nodded, "Do you have a way of communicating with this operative we spoke about?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Fixer 71?"

She shrugged. "She is probably with Section IX now, I wager, hopefully working her scrawny butt off on this mess." Another sip. "Why?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Ever since my meeting with Magpie I've been unable to contact Baras through any means available to me... I need to speak with him, one way or the other... I need to keep my options open. I have a feeling she'll have a way to talk to him... if she's not in his physical presence right this moment."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha carefully considered it. Paz will have a fit. Vowrawn might flip a lid too. If this all turns out to be a betrayal from Syl.

"We can try to give a call. If you insist."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"See if she's where she's supposed to be first..." He replied. "Then have them patch her through if she isn't."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"I'd be calling HQ, not her personally," she clarified.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nods, "See if you can find her... make up some reason."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha placed a call to the safehouse. A slightly distressed woman of dark skin answered.

"My lord," she greeted hastily.
"Snow," Shaisha acknowledged Anthy by using her nickname, "is Paz or Fixer there?"
"Agent Venger is here, my lord, or I think so? It's... kind of chaotic here. With the death of Darth Baras, it seems all of Intelligence is thrown into complete disarray. I could try to grab his attention, my lord?"
Shaisha shook her head. She knew how overworked they were from earlier, having overseen some of the mess while Sylvain slept. "No, it's fine Snow. It can wait."
"Yes, my lord. Is there anything else?"
"That will be all. Keep me updated if there's any new development."
The young woman saluted. "It will be done, my lord."

The call ended and Shaisha looked at Sylvain. "Sorry. Things are kind of crazy today." She glanced at the time. "And, they're about to get even crazier too, I guess... I have a date coming over soon."

He chuckled, "A date? Throwing out your brother for a date?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Yes, I am," she chuckled. "You'd be ruining the mood, after all, since you're not going to be part of the fun."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He chuckled, "I guess I can go get some drinks on my own."

He smiled, "Who's the lucky guy tonight?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"You should probably be freshing up if you want to see Kris when she gets back," she teased.

"Jo'ren. Did you catch him on the news this morning, by the way?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

He shook his head, "No, what was he on the news for?"

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Someone trying to kill some important lady, or something. He and two others came to her rescue... they killed like twenty or so on live holo." Judging by her grin, Jo'ren had probably done most of the killing.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded in recognition, "Ah that."

He then smiled and stood up, "Well I suppose I'll get out of your hair and go wait to see when Kris gets back."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Thank you for staying at Chateau Vowrawn, please rate and like us on the Holonet Travel Guide," she said with a mirthful tone in her voice.

[Sylvain Torsin]

He smiled and walked to the door, "It would have been a better stay without the surveillance equipment throughout every room."

He turned and waved as the door opened, "Have fun sis."

He then stepped outside and walked away.

"Give Kris my regards," she waved her hand to the departing Sylvain.

Oh well, at least he had left before Jo'ren showed up. Would've been awkward trying to kick him out then.
