Looking over the assassin she finds nothing and then after feeling around a peculiar thing happens it begins to dissolve from the inside out until there is a fleshy puddle of assassin goo and acid.

The others are alive but high or asleep. They didn’t even notice the fight.

Well... that was disappointing.

"Hey droid." She calls over the mechanical butler.

The droid turns, “Yes, how may I be of service? Oh my, is that the master? Is he… he dead? Oh what is that ghastly mess? My circuits cannot handle all this bloodshed.”

OOC: Yep.

[Alysele Cortess]

She looked down at the bodies. "...Yes. Do you have a list of the guests that arrived last night?" She really ought to do something about the bodies...

"I will take care of this. Your master died a brave death." Bravely introducing his fiance to his killer.

[Dapper Dog]

The droid produces a list of names for the Jedi and then gets to the grim task of cleaning.

"Thank you." She rubbed her head... this was going to be a headache. She saved the names for now, none of them springing out at her.

OOC: Is the dagger recoverable

[Dapper Dog]

The vibro-dagger is still on the floor.

[Alysele Cortess]

She takes the dagger away.... the damn thing. She observed it for any markings that might point her in the right direction. "Your master was.... he had the potential to be good." She offered lamely to the droid. "What's your designation?"

An idea sparked in her head. "Do you know who was Basil's chemical dealer?"

[Dapper Dog]

"I am 3C-V0, and yes I have that information, his name is Vari, works for the Exchange," the droid responds.

[Alysele Cortess]

"That is good to know." She put the dagger away after looking for any signs. "Thank you 3V. any other frequent associates? Did his family visit often?"

OOC: Do I know assassin was Rist?

[Dapper Dog]

OOC: You do not and the dagger has no distinguishable markings.

[Alysele Cortess]

She tucked away the dagger for now. They knew their target well, observed his movements, and got close.

"Thank you. What will become of you now?"

She looked at the puddle that was human once. A pang of.... something came to her. I know how your task feels. Only I am succeeding. So far.

[Dapper Dog]

"I do not know, I suppose I will be wiped and then resold or sent to another master," the droid replies.

[Alysele Cortess]

She frowned. "Want to come with? I think I can find a place for you..."

[Dapper Dog]

“I have no preference to be wiped again,” the droid replies.

[Alysele Cortess]

"Come with me if you want to remember then." She looked around once again. "Do you know if your master kept anything valuable anywhere here? Documents maybe, or something relating to her family?"

[Dapper Dog]

"There is a safe box," the droid replies. It walks towards the bedroom.

[Alysele Cortess]

Aly followed, limping. "Thank you."

[Dapper Dog]

The droid opens the safebox under the bed and produces some holo pictures and a Datapad. The Datapad has personal notes copious amounts of… scandalous materials and messages from his sister mostly, Ziandra Thul, elder sister but not the heir from the looks of things.

Their discussions were mostly about how he was wasting his life and he should get serious. The pictures are of family including one of Ziandra and Basil.

She transferred over the details of the datapad to her own, and put both pads and the pictures away.

"Thank you. Do you know where Ziandra is currently?" She moved out of the room, to hear the droid without the snoring.

[Dapper Dog]

“I believe she is on Coruscant, that was as f yesterday morning, the master had a rather drunken conversation with her,” the droid responds.

“She was of course sober. I rather like her, as much as my circuits allow me to.”

[Alysele Cortess]

Coruscant... small world. "Thank you. I think we can get on our way..." She glanced down at Basil's body. She should perhaps bury it properly.... but expedience disallowed it. "I'll find you some place in the Republic compound. IF someone asks, I bought you from an owner who was about to melt you down. Okay?"

[Dapper Dog]

"You want me to lie?" the droid replies.
