Makeover! (D3, ME)

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha put her hands on Kristal's shoulders. "Hey, chin up, crystal-shine," she gave a brave smile. "We've gotten through a lot of stuff... and, sure, there's more waiting for us down the line that will test us even more... but for now, the three of us are together again. And we can make it work. Because we know that life is kriffin' hard and full of struggles."

"That is why we know Peace Is A Lie - because life is constant conflict."

Kristal just smiled and shook her head a little, "You have gotten better at pep-talks as well."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"I've had practice," she chuckled and gave Kristal a surprise-hug.

"But mostly, I just say what's on my mind."

Kris allowed a half suppressed chuckle escape when Shaisha suddenly hugged her.

When she stepped back Kristal regarded her friend with a warmth, then said, "Alright. Well, with that aside how about we enjoy the rest of this little trip then? Shall we?"

"Yes, let's," she chuckled and brushed some of Kristal's hair from the woman's face and tucked it behind her ear, before finally letting go of her.

"So, we're getting this dress then? And you'll wear it too, right?"

[Dapper Dog]

Vain was in the neighborhood tailing a rich woman’s husband when he spotted a familiar face… well two. He brightened and then realized they were Sith and that this might get ugly. Well he had his blaster, he had his sweet cologne and a sense of self importance to at least say hello.

He approaches the duo and says, “Kristal, fancy seeing you here.”

Then there was the awkward realization that she might not even remember him. Time to play it cool.

Kristal allowed Shaisha free reign, which was way more than about anyone else got. Once she let go there was a brief smile as she answered, "Yes, this dress and I will surely wear it."

Just then another joined the fray. Turning to him in such a way that it was Shaisha and Kristal on one side and him having approached, she said, "Quite a surprise to find you here Vain, did not think you were the type."

Shaisha was about to say something more before the stranger appeared. Hey, didn't I see him at the cantina with Kris earlier...?

The female pureblood looked questioningly at the both of them.

[Dapper Dog]

“I go where the work sends me, maybe I am just a workaholic,” he counters and looks at Shaisha.

“Good evening Sith, Shaisha Vreysk, is it?” he says offering his hand.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Yes... it is, though I do not recall introducing myself to you before?" she warily accepts the offered hand.

She tried to get a reading of the man, but she had already strained herself too much today, and there was probably some interference from the Jedi on the Moon.

D3 ME Sense on Vain: 1eF 2 Light Side

[Kristal Serasai]

"That would be my doing," she offered to Shaisha. "I had given him your name the other night when it came up in a conversation. Vain here," she said, raising her hand toward the man to indicate him,"is a private investigator of sorts."

"Of sorts?" She gave the man a very skeptical look.

[Dapper Dog]

Shaisha can feel… nothing like she felt on Nathema when she shakes his hand, and there is a the briefest of looks and a furrowed brow before the smile resumes for Vain.

“I do freelance work finding people, finding their secrets, finding people that are lost,” he says ticking off some of his skills.

“It keeps food on the table and the Hutts from trying to gut me. If you are ever in the need of a Private Eye, Vain Taskar is the man for the job, reasonable rates for excellent work.”

Shaisha nearly seemed to flinch, the feeling of (or rather the lack of) Nathema touching her mind, and she quickly lets go of his hand as soon as the basic nescessity of greeting is done.

"Hm... and you assisted my friend, it seems, so you can't be all bad." Despite the compliment, her eyes narrow slightly. "Might I ask you about a current problem here on Nar Shaddaa then, and see if it is something you might be able to get to the bottom of?"

Normally, she had people for this sort of thing, but there was a limit to how much she would ask of Section IX outside of their normal work.

[Dapper Dog]

“I am always on the clock,” he says with a charming smile.

“My one weakness.”

[Kristal Serasai]

Kristal merely stood beside the two and watched, though she would never admit the casual glances she took over toward the gloves in hopes of spotting from a distance something of interest to her. Still, Shaisha's reactions to the man were enough to catch Kristal's attention and curiosity.

"There is a case of children being abducted. So far, I've been told that all the victims have no affiliations to any gangs, though it could just be none have been reported so far. The ones to take them use a type of scanner to check the child's strength with the Force, and take the ones with the possibility of using the Force. I wish to know who is behind it."

Her hands folds casually behind her back, an almost military-like at ease stance.

"A Jedi Master Garrick Lorne is investigating the case, but he seems as subtle as a bantha in a crystal shop. My hunch is that he will not get any solid leads."

[Dapper Dog]

“No subtlety those Jedi,” he says with a chuckle.

“I can look into this, 300 credits if I turn up any actionable information. Sounds fair? I can knock off 100 credits for a drinks and dinner, limited time offer.”

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"300 Credits for any actionable information," she agrees, smirking only slightly at his attempt at dining a Sith apprentice. "The offer I will consider, depending on what you find."

[Dapper Dog]

“I do good work, well I would stick around but duty calls… though that means I will need your contact info strictly for business purposes, Sith,” Vain counters.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Of course." She was getting used to passing that particular number out to every Republican anyway on this stinkin' moon, so why not an unaffiliated P.I, as well? And so she passed him her contact info.

[Dapper Dog]

He took the contact info and left getting to work.

[Kristal Serasai]

"First time I met him he had gathered the promise of some of my Credits as well," she commented after he left. "I, however, had the excuse of being drunk," she added as a slight tease.
