"Darth Marr has already been informed of Layne's meeting with the Emperors Voice. However, much beyond that I am certain he either already knows or it is too vague to do anything about just yet," she answered.

Sylvain nodded, "It is something to keep in mind... I know your master tolerates Baras for now, but one day he will become a very real threat."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Marr tolerates Baras because he doesn't care," Shaisha shrugged. A bit disappointing, really.

"Vowrawn doesn't like Baras, but he will probably doubt the source," she gave a glance to Sylvain, "the man has a healthy dose of paranoia, and I can't say I blame him."

[Sylvain Torsin]

Sylvain shrugged, "Say you got it some other way if you feel you must... what I tell you is the truth."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Hmm..." Shaisha glanced at something else than Kristal or Sylvain for a moment, before closing her eyes and leaning back again.

"This is information you could potentially use to earn yourself a place in the Empire again after what Baras has done. If you approach the right people with it. Though I can already say it will take a lot to make Vowrawn change his stance on the Council's current whim." She suspected he must have something in the works if he was playing things cautiously now.

Sylvain nodded, "I do not think anything can be done in the immediate future... I will need more of a base and to become stronger before anything I say will matter to anyone. The Empire respects strength, and I unfortunately have very little at this juncture. I tell you both this in case things do not go well for me in the future... use this information then if you so choose to better serve the Empire."

"Becoming stronger could take a long time," she said with a small smirk. "The Empire might even be no more by that time."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"You have some inside knowledge on any such a thing?" He asked with a smirk. "You're the one with the visions of the Emperor destroying the galaxy."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"I find it more likely that the Empire will turn on itself," she said with a shrug. "This peace... which seems likely, is only going to serve as an opportunity for more internalized conflict, now that the war effort isn't something to be paraded around like a little excuse to keep the attention focused outwards."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded, "It has been the flaw of the past Sith Empire, and our own for far too long... This pseudo-democracy at the top only creates problems."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Out of curiosity, how would you do it differently then? Instead of the 'pseudo-democracy', as you call it?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"The council is losing its efficiency... It has started to turn increasingly inward... cancerous to itself. It may be possible to replace several members of the Council and evade what is bound to happen, or it could be best to remove the position all together and follow one voice as we did in the past before the Emperor has secluded himself." He replied.

"I do not mean to imply that we kill all members of the Council either... just the way it is functioning now is not sustainable. How that is to be accomplished at this juncture... I still do not see the way... but I have confidence that it is there."

[Shaisha Vreysk]

Shaisha covered her mouth as she grinned. "Now you are sounding like Baras, Syl. You sure you want us to warn the Council members of his schemes?"

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Baras seeks to murder and provoke the other Sith to fight one another... intrinsically weakening the Empire while our enemies grow stronger. His goal is selfish in nature as well... he seeks to place himself at the top of this hierarchy... I only seek what is best for the Empire and to create order and justice in it. My approach is a longue durée approach... gradual incremental progress towards an eventual future. Pruning when need be, but cultivating strength within our military and people enough to resist the madness of some of our more cancerous elements." He replied.

[Shaisha Vreysk]

"Yet, is his plan not a way to make the so-called cancerous elements eliminate eachother?" Shaisha retorted as she chewed down on some of the cold bacon. "Pruning is a tricky business, after all."

[Sylvain Torsin]

"Baras doesn't have a monopoly on the idea that the Dark Council is not functioning as it should..." He said simply.

[Kristal Serasai]

"Darth Marr," she interjects before the conversation gets too far away from her, "is not so apathetic that he allows Darth Baras to escape judgement. It is with the grave understanding that the man has situated himself at the center of our Empire enough that without his presence the Empire would be weaker and more vulnerable for it."

"As for the other topic, none of it matters while the Emperor's plans to destroy everything we know and replacing the Dark Council before that is dealt with is beyond anyone. However I would be careful with such idea's, Darth Baras himself appears a man that has set out to do the very same and yet has fallen far."

[Sylvain Torsin]

He nodded but added, "Different methods provide different results..."

"But it looks like I'm out-voted..."

He shakes his fist at the sky, "Curse you democracy!"

"I thought you were used to being out-voted in this triumvirate by now," Shaisha said with a laugh as she tossed a piece of fruit at her 'brother'.

He chuckled through his nose, "If I ever get use to crushing defeat I'll have a bigger problem than getting out voted by you two."
