Nar Shaddaa

It was later in the evening, and after a few days of goodbyes and plotting, Z was feeling more then a little exhausted. Sitting in a bar that was on the smaller side, he watched the band and the few couples on the dance floor.

There remained the possibility that, one of those couple could be He and Naveera one day. For the moment though it seemed far away.

Alysele was also at the bar... drinking. It had been a rough... well, forever really. She wanted to get away, and alone, this time. No Niall. No Yslane. No Arsele. Just Alysele. She was nursing a drink, as she sat at the bar, lost in thought.

Z noticed Aly and after a moment sat down beside her. "You look like you need a drinking partner." He offered after a moment. "One that won't ask any questions."

She raised her glass at him, too tired to be suspicious. "Astute." She narrowed her eyes at him. "Welcome Black Hat."

"Nice to see you pink ranger." He honestly didn't remember the name of the woman's outfit. He did remember the kids show he watched when young though.

"It seems you are trying go vanquish a difficult foe Could I offer my assistance?"

"Pink? Why pink?" she asked in confusion, before she took another sip. "I thought no questions." She eyed him warily.

"Well pink seemed to fit you better then yellow." He offered with a smirk. "And my apologies but I can't remember the particular if your costume."

"As for the question. I was wondering what I could buy you."

"Yeah, yellow looks terrible on me. As for my costume... might be better if you don't." She smiled at the thought. At the con, she was happy.

"Hm... something strong. Surprise me. It's not hard. I usually stick to wine."

"Oh? " He glanced as her and smiled. "I believe i remember more then a few details." His lips curled into a small smile. "After all you looked really good there."

"Wine?" There was a moment thought. "I'd usually ask what kind.... But if you want a surprise." He paused. "Get the lady what I'm drinking." Z's drink was a Rye Spanhatan, dry, with a twist of lemon.

Alysele blushed. "Thank you." She glanced at him. "You looked good too. Nice hat, still."

She glanced at what he was having, but didn't say a word. "What are you up to here?"

"Thank you my dear." He replied with a honest smile. "But the black of the nights sky, can't compare to the stars" He finished as he looked towards her, honest admiration in his eyes.

"As for me?" He took a sip of his drink, as her copy of his his arrived. "Perhaps I'm saying goodbye? Though it could be I wished to enjoy the nights air."

"Oh? What, am I a star now?" She smiled sincerely.

"Goodbye?" She looked confused. "To whom?"

"Perhaps." His eyes turned towards her to better take her in. "A beautiful young Jedi. You're far out of the reach of most men in this galaxy."

"The city, this moon. I do believe I'll be leaving soon. I don't know when I might be returning next."

Alysele chuckled. "Stars sometimes die out." She drank her new drink.

"Oh? Are you happy about it, or not? You don't sound sure."

"True, and the same goes for most of us..." He offered her a small smile. "Those sound like the words of someone, who doesn't think she'll shine much longer though."

"I'm not sure." Zane replied with a chuckle. "But i know its something i need to do. If that makes sense."

"Perhaps I don't know where my light will shine.." She smiled weakly.

"I think I understand... something came up?" She raised the glass to her lips again with her left hand.

"That sounds like a difficult problem." He murmured taking a sip of his drink with his right hand. "I could listen a bit if you'd like?"

"Yes, old habits mostly. They brought me I'm contact with old friends, then suddenly I was a star again, on the big screen." He smirked. "It can't last."

"Maybe. Maybe I am just making fuss of it." She fell silent for a long while. "Old habits can be bad. Or good. Stardom is painful. It burns."

"If you were just making a fuss of it, you wouldn't be here sharing expensive cocktails with a stranger." He replied offering her a easy smile. "But I won't push you on the subject."

"Aye, it does." He replied with a rueful chuckle, as he patted the place he had been shot yesterday. "Ruins good jackets too."

"Mhm, good jackets are hard to come by though." She smiled. "Maybe... maybe after this." She took another sip.

"Tell me of the moon. Tell me how you see this place. You seem to have spent some time here."

"That they are." He replied with a chuckle. "Take your time, there is enough alcohol in one of those to get most well along their way to drunk."

"Mmmm... I have been here a while, more then most. Was there anything in particular you wanted to know? The people, the dangers, the nightlife?"

"Just... how you see it? All of it. The people, the Hutt, the life, the... well, everything." She frowned and took another sip. "Do you drink here often?"

"You better watch out Alysele, that last thing you said nearly sounded like a pick-up line. To answer you though, only when I want something really nice." He trailed off for a moment before moving onto the original topic. "Honestly? It's a Shit Hole." He said with a soft chuckle. "At least half the people are criminals at least on some levels, the rest are victims or people that are soon to be. Of course you have your tourists too, but I count the in the latter half."

He smirked. "Did you think I was going to accept if it was toots? Nah, a pretty thing like you just smells like trouble." He joined her a moment later in laughter before picking up his glass and taking a sip.

"Oh, there a lot of different reasons. Maybe he feels a shit hole is all he deserves? Maybe he likes to surround himself with people he knows he'll never get really close to." He looked her way and offered a sly wink. "I suppose the answer really depends on the man."
