The bar was opened and music was playing. It was time to finish off the stay on Nar Shaddaa with a last hurrah, and what better way to do it than to strip away most most clothing that could show off allegiances by throwing a pool party?

The luxurious apartement in Uptown had opened its door to its specific list of guests and their dates, and the swimming pool that seemed more like a lagoon was ready.

Cole was... not early, per se. But he had his reasons for being prompt. Though his tread was unmistakable, he sidled up behind the pureblood, placing his hands on her shoulders to keep her from turning around. Leaning forward slightly, his lips almost brushing her ear, “I have something for you, deviless.

She looked over her shoulder with a playful smirk. "A present for me?" she responded as her eyes gave a glint of curiosity.

With a lopsided smile, “it's no Kyber crystal, but,” Cole draped a pendant gently around her neck, fastening the clasp behind her and letting the necklace settle, the polished obsidian point coming to rest in the valley between her crimson breasts. What appeared to be a humble piece of stone, polished to a mirror sheen, was in fact more. When held in just the right way, with the light behind it, a tiny ginger tabby kitten could be seen playing in the crystal’s heart.

“If you find yourself suffering a case of sentimentality, this should help sober you right up.”

The stone was lifted between her fingers as she brought it up for a closer look, turning it around until she saw the kitten playing in it. "Aw, Cole... that's a sweet gesture. Thank you."

"I didn't get you any gifts though," she sighed as she turned around to face him.

For the first time on Nar Shaddaa, Cole wasn't in uniform. He smiled and caressed the spur on her right cheek, "somehow, I don't think I'll forget any of this in a hurry."

Aphr was one of the earlier arrivals - she was always big on being prompt, but she didn't expect to be just after the doc!

She entered once she was sure she was allowed to, peeking in.

The doctor probably should have been paying a little more attention to his surroundings, but his back was to the door as Aphr peered in, and Cole didn't notice her.

"Ahem."

A clear, but polite cough came from behind Cole and next to Aphr.

Taking a pace back from the pureblood, Cole's hand - the one that had caressed her - went through his blonde curls. As he turned, that hand smoothed down the front of his waistcoat. His smile didn't falter as he saw the two arrivals, but he did move in the direction of the bar.

"Galen, Aphr."

Both being invited, Galen and Aphr were gladly welcome in by the Jawa at the door.

Shaisha herself was wearing a revealing black one-piece with a plunging neckline... and now also sporting the newly gifted jewelry.

"Aphr, Galen. So glad to see you both! Some simple fun after these trying days will do us all some good, right?"

"It's good to see you Cole. Hey, Shai." Galen greeted them cheerfully. He had found a swimsuit somewhere and looked a bit diffetent out of his armor and cloak. There were a number of scars all over his lean body, primarily along his forearms.

Getting himself a whiskey sour, Cole didn't shy from giving Galen a long appraising look. After all, that's what pool parties were for, right? Even he'd managed to scrounge up something suitable to swim in, and would get around to changing soon enough.

"Help yourself with any drinks you want, Galen," she said as she lifted her own glass of whiskey on the rocks.

"Will I be seeing you again in the future with the Starcross, or will your path be elsewhere?"

Remmington arrives and bids Shaisha and everyone else welcome. He smiles politely. "Good afternoon Shaisha. Jo'ren told me about the party." He looks around. "I guess I beat him here. Well I hope that your time on Nar Shaddaa was... enjoyable."

He has a scar over his eye now but the eye appears to be working just fine.

"I'll be around, but not with the Starcross." he replied. "It isn't the best place to study the Force, I'm afraid. I've made a few friends who will help me with that, though."

"Hey, help yourself to the bar," she nodded in response to Remmington. We need to seriously talk about your choice of friends someday, Jo'ren.

"Oh?" Shaisha looked back at Galen. "Will you be going with the Jedi then, to expand your understanding?"

"That's the current plan." he nodded. "I will learn what I can from them and go from there."

"It would not have been my choice," she admitted, "but we must all find our destinies without living attached to the visions others would want for us. I wish you luck with that."

"You may still find me at your door one day." he shrugged. "Though, I don't think I'd make a good Sith."

Niall was there with Aly, looking handsome and stuff. He looked happy, but he was favoring one foot a little, the one closer to Aly.

"Captain Al--errr, Organa, and Alysele, welcome," Shaisha greeted the newcomers. "Open bar, so help yourselves. Glad to see you could make it."

She favoured the two with a smile. "Seems like there will be peace. Something to celebrate, perhaps?"

Alysele glanced at Niall's foot with concern. She didn't say a word though.

"So you assume we will require copious amount of alcohol to muddle through the minutiae of the peace process, when we return home?"

Cole liked his whiskey sour simple and tart: whiskey, lemon juice, two ice cubes, and a cherry soaking up the booze at the bottom. It wasn't everyone's taste, so he got a mint julep and moved over to Aphr, offering the sweet drink to her.

"Excited for the next step?" he asked the young Twi'lek.
