[D3 LE] Kaggaths and Slaughter are So Romantic

Zeno showed up to Shaisha's place and rang the buzzer, waiting patiently outside. A lot had happened that day with so much killing, and Zeno was happy to take a chance to relax with a lovely Sith.

A few new scrapes and cuts did little to stem her enthusiasm for meeting up with Zeno again. She had stripped out of her armor earlier, and after making sure that Kris had been dressed acceptably for her date with Syl, Shaisha had rushed back to the apartement for her own 'date'.

Opening the door for Zeno, the pureblood wore only a simple loose-fitting top, and form-hugging trousers. "Zeno! Come in," she smiled widely as she let him in. "Much more impressive than the rooms at the Imperial compound, eh?"

Zeno was wearing his armored clothing... like nearly always. He had to travel all the way from the compound to get here after all, and walking alone on the streets of Nar Shadaa always begged someone to mug you.

When she opened the door, his eyes took her in and she could tell that he was happy to see her again. Full smiles were not so common on him for some time, but she got one. "Indeed. Quite a nice place. Must have cost Darth Vowrawn a fortune."

Zeno enters the huge apartment and looks around.

"Maybe it did, but it's not like he doesn't have resources," she chuckles and gestures to the big apartement. Two floors it seemed, and a double-set of transparasteel doors that gave a spectacular view to an outside area that had an enormous swimming pool, and the sitting room itself featured large panorama windows that made the cityscape of Nar Shaddaa the backdrop.

"And I bet it's a lot more private than the rooms at the compound too," Shaisha says with a grin as she walks into the sitting area that's populated with comfortable and plush divans, couches and chairs.

Rather than the oppressive austerity of Imperial interior decorating, the place had all sorts of works of art instead of the Imperial banners people expected in a Sith lord's home.

Moving with her to the sitting room, he took her by the waist and pulled her down with him to sit on one of the couches. "Privacy is nice. But I'll bet people can peep on you with all these windows from any of those buildings," he says looking out over the skyline.

She gives a small yelp of surprise as he grabs a hold of her.

"Well, they can be closed, but they're polarized to allow us to look out, but not for people to see in," her voice lowers slightly as she shares that particular detail.

"Well, I'm not overly concerned with what other people see me do. I tend not to hide my intentions or actions. Except for the occasional ambush, but that's just good tactics."

"You're feeling better after the match last night i take it? How are those ribs?"

"Still sore, I certainly felt it after the heat died down after the Kaggath, but better... had a good doctor come over and help me with it. One of these silly Republic officers who said he'd even help one of ours in need, so... I but that to the test."

Shaisha's smile is smug as she wraps her arms around him. "How are you though?"

"Not bad. Haven't been beat up yet. The Huttball match agreed with my nimbleness," he says with a nod. "Not sleeping the best, but it's not so bad either. Got myself in a little situation with the pirate queen but I'm hoping it will work out in my favor."

"But all in all, things are going well. And spending an evening with you makes them even better," he says as he leans in to her gently.

"Not sleeping well... yeah, me neither," she leans forward and rests her forehead againts his. "But... this is nice. It's a nice change of pace from the past days..."

"You have the nightmares too?"

"I do. And I think they're probably more than just nightmares. Something that powerful... it's probably more like intentions or a warning," he says. "And if that's the case then it's best to find a bit of joy before that has to be faced."

Shaisha sighs, and nods. "I thought maybe it would stop after going there, and then it only got worse..."

"But, you're right... finding joy when we can is good." Her arms tightens around him and she steals a kiss from his lips.

His hand moves gently and slowly, running his fingers along the ridge of her jawline. When their lips part, he kisses her once more on the chin. "I've missed your touch Shaisha. Being able to speak with you so closely is so much better than with light years between us."

Feeling his touch did make her feel warmer again already, as it had right before the battle of the Kaggath began. "Hmm... yes, I've missed this too. Talking through holo just isn't the same... not being able to feel you, or even sense you. Or feel your touch on me."

Her voice shifts slightly, becoming more teasing. "Though it was fun to see your exploits all over the Holonet."

He smirks at that. "Gotta try to encourage the soldiers of the Empire. Let them know they're not the only ones fighting. Though I'm not sure what I'll do if the peace talks result in peace. Even if I could fight in a clandestine manner, I wouldn't be able to publicize my missions."

"Hm, knowing how these people think, they'd probably set you up as a recruitement drive officer for enlisting to become a pilot, or something. But... do you really think peace is likely to happen?" She seems rather uncertain about the topic herself.

"I'd prefer it to not happen, but it's been suggested to me that using it and then waging proxy war, might allow us to consolidate what we've gained and build up our force even further. I'd rather be grinding the Republic away to dust, because that's what I'm good at, but however it plays out..."

"I admit... I'm not really sure what I want of these peace talks. I mean, it could help to at least get a lull in the fighting, but it would give them as much time to rebuild as it would give us. And then I really can't forgive the Jedi and the Republic for all they've done against our kind." Her hands clenched together.

"Logistics says yes, passion says no."

"It does take away the advantage that we gained from the element of surprise," he says with a nod. "But if we could spark war between the Mandalorians or Hutts with the Republic we could potentially slow their rebuilding efforts. But we'd have to be careful they don't do the same to us."

"Yeah, there's the problem," she nods and her lips caress his cheek. "Arranging for such is a little outside of my talents, but it's probably doable... we got a solid team here..."

"Like you and me."

"We can do some amazing things when we get together," he agrees with a smile, moving to kiss her on the side of her neck. "When we work together we're basically unstoppable."

"Mmm... I saw you fighting in the streets during the Kaggath," she purrs, thinking back to the intensity of the fighting and the finale she witnessed later. "Your skills are even more impressive than when we killed Death's Shadow."

"I got some practice in," he says with a nod. "I'd be a terrible Sith if I didn't take my ability to kill my enemies seriously."

"And did you witness the finale to end it all?" she asks as her teeth nips at the skin of his neck.

"I did, and you did an amazing job," he says with a smirk. "Took his power, then his advantage, and put him out of commission. Even did better than Jo'ren."

"Of course, your opponent was no Zeno Deathwright," he says teasingly. "Why don't you show me how you would have taken control if he had been?"
