Day 11 (LA): The Entente

[Baesal Zyn]

Baesal had parked the truck in a dark alley where the entrances could be surveyed. There still ample lights thanks to the incredible number of neon lights around advertising some product or another.

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I really need drugs and hookers." A voice said after some bamming at the back door of the truck.

[Baesal Zyn]

''You should consider a therapy my friend'' she said while unlocking the truck's back door

[Moyr Ahaya]

"...I could use a medical leave since you mention it." Moyr sighed slipping in. "On some distant, resort world."

[Baesal Zyn]

''With long sandy beaches...'' she added, closing the door behind her

''...and handsome waiters handing out drinks by the sea''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"...I like sand." Moyr chuckled. "And I guess I could be convinced to appreciate those waiters." She sealed the exit. "But we both know it's not what's going to happen." She studied Baes' form with surfacing concern. "How do you feel, Baessie?"

[Baesal Zyn]

She looked at her missing arm for a second

''I'll be fine...it was just flesh and bone after all'' she returned to Moyr with a degree of concern ''What about you?''

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I'll have yet to get rid of the physical weakness that has left in me." Moyr admitted solemnly, looking at the stump. "You should be blaming me. He came for me and my possession. You were not the target, just got caught up in the middle."

[Baesal Zyn]

She could not help but smile warmly

''I understand how you feel but don't and I won't blame this on you. He might have come for me as well, I am also Zash's adversary, yeah? And I was not caught in the middle...I chose to fight with you against him. This is the result of my initiative, not yours.''

She put a hand on her shoulders

''We can't be good at everything honey, just recognise what your weaknesses and strengths are and use then wisely.''

"So what was my weakness in all this? I felt like I dealt a devastating blow. I have been honing by sabre for that for quite the time..." Moyr cringed at the memory and leaned on Baes.

[Baesal Zyn]

She leaned on Moyr as well ''The saber is just a tool honey, you made it strong and that lulled you into a false sense of security.''
