Nar Shaddaa

Aphr wasn't sure who to buzz for this. She was in over her head, picking up...pieces for something she didn't know, nor what would be best to use.

Moyr might be ideal, but she was also very busy. Aphr was also nervous about bringing more attention on her. Galen was asleep. After a few moments, it became obvious...and she dropped Baesal a message to meet for shopping.

She'll be discreet too...I hope

Baesal arrived in her truck not long after. She passed the commands to R5 about a block away and walked the rest.

She looked around to see if Aphr was around

Aphr noticed the leather-clad Jedi first, and moved over to her with a smile.

"Good morning! Sorry to have bugged you if you were busy, how are you?" she smiled sweetly.

Baesal finally noticed Pinky as she moved towards her

"And good morning to you as well Aphr. Do not worry, I have some time to spare for a friend."

She tilted her head, curious

"So, what do you need?"

"Well, it's a bit...I wanted to ask about something that I was looking for shopping wise" Aphr looked over at the stores "without really knowing what I'm looking for, or wishing to ask anyone that would make it quite obviously known."

She looked at the stores as well

''You certainly got me curious, go on''

She turned back to Baesal.

"I'm...researching into the parts normally used in lightsaber creation."

Her eyes got wide and illuminated themselved

''Aaaahhh, your very first lightsaber!''

She smiles wide as well

''You have your crystal I suppose?''

Aphr's eyes widened at Baesals excitement. "Yes yes, it might be that. I'm...not wanting to announce such things though, so please keep it quiet. Not even to Moyr."

She would just be concerned.

"And I do have a crystal to use. The hard part is sorted at least, right?"

''Yes it is!'' she then grins and nods

''Very well, I'll keep that secret. Now, what kind of crystal is it? Its nature might help us determine what we can get away with as lightsaber types goes''

There was a blink. "Ah, I had no idea a crystal would effect build types. What are the different kinds of builds? I don't know much about the crystal, except it's a crimson Kyber crystal."

She paused.

"Do you need to see it?"

''You can build any type with any crystal but many have special qualities that would favor one model over the others.'' she explained

She raised and eyebrow when the color was mentionned

''Crimsom? That sound like an artificial Sith crystal. Could I indeed see it?''

She nodded, and took out the Crimson crystal for Baes to examine.

"It's a Kyber crystal, constructed through alchemical processes. At least that's what I was told by the...person that gave it."

She frowned as soon as she saw the crytstal

''Sith alchemy'' she looked back at Aphr ''Be careful with this.''

She scratched her forehead

''So, you are throwing in with the Sith''

"The gifter may be offended if I wasn't to use it, which would work out bad for two Twi'leks" she whispered quietly, before adding in a normal voice "sadly, I have found myself rather...offended by the Jedi I have met, except your lovely self. I will be careful."

''Master Mersl was kinda stupid...but I assure you that is not an habit''

She had to resign herself

''Zhorrid I suppose? She's been on Moyr's back for a few days.''

Aphr nodded.

"She is very good at watching people. Shall we go shop then?" She moved on past the conversation quickly "do you have any recommendations for saber creation?"

She slipped the gem back into an inside pocket and secured it.

Baes was'nt so sure anymore...

''I'd advise going for a Shoto hilt'' she replied ''It's smaller but it is more precise and that is always good''

"Sounds ideal" Aphr would have taken her suggestion almost regardless "what should I be looking out for?"

''You now need a power call, lenses, some circuitry and materials for the handle''

Baesal walks over some merchants to inspect the good

''Anyone told you the basic of lightsaber crafting?''

"Not really" Aphr shook her head as she examined the goods Baes was looking at "although I will be shown through the process, knowing and understanding the basics ahead of time will be very useful."

''Allright''

She began looking for pieces

''This one would be good''

And thus she began trudging throught the boutiques to find what the young twilek needed, explaining her the why and the what in the process

Aphr was a very attentive student, learning and memorizing each explanation. She was fascinated by the level of construction a lightsaber required, and was able to pay for the right parts as advised.

''That should cover it!'' she exclaimed as she finished

"I'm amazed there are so many parts to it, all which so much detail to them" Aphr commented as they moved away "it must have taken a long time to become as much of an expert in this as you are."
