There was a knock on the truck door.

"It's me, missus, still need money for drugs and hookers."

Baes smiled and walked to the 'beggar'

''Come on back, its roomy''

Soon Moyr slipped into the truck, taking the shades off her eyes. She was dressed casually.

"Are you planning to set up a stall here in the district? It took me a while to realise you may be here again."

''Nah...but I enjoy the noise of the city when I work'' she grins ''It gets me inspired...''

"To do what?"

Moyr looked at what Baes was working on.

She showed the armored clothing on the bench.



The plates could be very well hidden under regular clothing and were clearly vacuum sealed.

''That will be needed soon''

"Looks like some stealthsuit to me. I didn't know you are able of making those, otherwise I'd have poked you about it a while back. In need of being sneaky sometime soon? Usually it's been my job."

She looks back at the suit

''Not stealthy...I just wanted something that could be concealed and airtight'' she takes in a deep breath

''And yeah...remember the failed Aris gig?''

"Yeah. I was investigating the crime scene when you and the other guys were looting the warehouses." Moyr said wryly.

''We were actually trying to get things back on track but...well...I guess trust issues spoiled everything as rumors began to spread saying that the imperials wanted to cut us off''

She shrugged

''But I was contacted recently concerning that...The weapon Czerka was manufacturing? Its a bio-weapon, a virus, and it was to be tested on kidnapped force sensitive children.''

She fiddled with the armor

''Tonigh a group of people and I are going to stop the entire project. Neither the Empire nor the Republic will have that weapon.''

"That's... a lot. Let me process it."

Moyr sat and for a moment stayed silent.

"You are endangering yourself a lot. Even more so because they would probably have designated you for a slicer job. I just wonder who those they are if neither the Empire nor the Republic is about to get it. Galactic do-gooders? If it is a bioweapon, I don't like you walking into this, Baes. At all. Especially that it looks like I cannot be around."

She frowned.

"But what makes you think that disposing of this one source will solve the problem? The results of their research are very likely to have been stored in external data cores, and an off-system facilities might be already replicating the processes. Czerka can afford that. What makes you trust those people who pull you in? Maybe it's just a giant cover-up?"

''There is much I don't know, that is why I am taking some mesures of precautions.''

She thinned her lips, looking at the ground

''I can't stay hidden in a van forever Moyr. I don't want to feel useless anymore...''

Moyr considered Baes' motivations...

"Then if you really want to make a difference rather than merely find satisfaction from smiting the bad guys, you'd need to secure the data to be able to develop an antidote."

She nods

''I know...I will see where the project stands once I get there''

Moyr rubbed her forehead.

"No shit, Baes, under whose auspices is this. Because the Imperials being cut out already says a lot. Don't make me guess the worst."

''Define *worst* '' she cracked a smile

''The SIS wants to stop us if that makes you feel secure''

"Well, you have defined it for me. The only worse would be rogue elements within SIS, accountable to no-one." She chuckled bitterly.

''Or a Hutt in lingerie'' she raised

"That wouldn't have had your involvement. I did some pre-selection of terrible people that you could be swayed by."

She looked Moyr over

"Are you allright? You look a little pale..."

"I lost some blood yesterday, apparently." She smiled weakly. "But I plan on a hearty diet to get it back."

She waved to R5

"I can't help for the blood loss but I can kiss the boo-boo"
