Nar Shaddaa

Aphr knew she needed stock before the evening. She didn't know what would happen, but there was no point going in unprepared as she wandered around the shops.

Also preparing for a date with destiny was Sylvain Torsin. He perused the wares of one shop as the pink twi'lek entered the shop. Recognizing her from the Jedi's luncheon he nodded a greeting to the woman as their eyes met.

There was a smile and a returned nod to the man she remembered, although she didn't really know him. He was where she was going anyway, so she went in his direction. "Find anything interesting yet?" she asked

He shook his head, "Just common emergency preparation stuff."

He smiled, "I believe we were at the same luncheon a few days ago. My name is Sylvain Torsin. Pleased to meet you."

"That's good, I was intending to pick up a few stimpacks" Aphr chuckled, offering a hand "I am Aphr. Lovely to meet you properly, I remember you from that and one of my friends speaks well of you."

"Oh? Which friend?" He asked.

"Shaisha Vreysk. She seemed to think well of you, and I have a high opinion of Shaisha, I've known her for a quite a while" Aphr said with a smile

He smiled, "One would hope that their sister would speak nice of them in public even if they are quite different in private."

He chuckled, "Shaisha is a good friend to have. How did you get to know her?"

"As someone with a sister, I know what you mean" Aphr chuckled "although I think my sister is nice to me in private also, if a little testing sometimes. As for Shaisha, I've known her about nine months or so through the crew I worked for on the Starcross as the voice of the crew. I'd spent more time with her than others had."

He nodded, "I see. Nice to hear Shaisha is keeping busy."

He then asked, "A sister huh? I must say it seems like I've seen your face from somewhere before... perhaps I know your sister?"

"Oh you do..." Aphr paused, unsure if she should say, before deciding "her name is Moyr."

Sylvain's eyes widened for a second before returning to normal with a chuckle, "That would make sense then... I once knew Moyr Ahaya quite well."

"Yeah...I heard" Aphr said a little awkwardly "I kind of didn't mean to bring it up because well, I heard it ended badly. Sorry."

He chuckled, "It's no problem Aphr. Not everything always works out the way we see it... I still care for your sister. I'm guessing you've reconnected now over the past several days?"

"The day she landed I kind of...found her, or the Force guided me to her would be more accurate. Not that I knew who she was with that mask, I just knew that she was someone I needed to find" Aphr said with a nod "since then well...I've gone through a rollercoaster."

"Oh?" He asked with interest.

"The Force. Jedi, Sith, situations with the Hutts, and everything inbetween" Aphr sighed and shook her head "it's been a long 9 days."

He smiled and nodded, "It has indeed."

He turned to look at the wares again, "Are you planning on staying in touch with Moyr going forward then?"

"I don't want to lose my sister again. It was bad enough losing her for years before" Aphr nodded "I don't know how, but I'm certain neither of us want to lose contact again."

He nodded, "That's good. Moyr having someone around to keep her anchored is a good thing in my opinion."

"Why do you say that?" Aphr asked, curious

He smiled faintly, "Moyr... is most happy when she's not as... 'dark' as she suggests she is."

Aphr considered that, then after a few moments she chuckled. "You must have got to know her well to have seen through her like that."

He nodded, "Quite well... I was almost your brother-in-law..."

He smiled, "She's a good woman. And can use a good sister at her side if you choose that path."

"A shame you didn't become that, you seem quite lovely" Aphr said with a smile and a nod "and I'll look out for her, don't worry. She's my sister, and I love her. I haven't seen her for five years, so there's a lot of catching up to do."
