Finding a good seat Satele took a seat and waited for the blessed event to begin. She did enjoy a good wedding something about two people coming together was always warm. She hoped there would not be tears… because she knew there would be tears.

Darth Xevious was here with his daughter, he wore a resplendent dark robe and a satisfied grin while sipping wine and enjoying the refreshments. His honor guard took care to make sure he was well protected and looked suitably powerful.

It made him think of his own union and the time away from his wife, as wicked as she was, he did love her so. Then he looks to his daughter and wonders when her day will come, the thought gives him trepidation. He is not ready to lose his children yet, there was so much to teach them.

She would be a beautiful bride, one day.

Serani wore a beautiful night blue gown with a plunging neckline, typical of Imperial styles for nobility. The gown obviously cost well into the thousands of credits, hand tailored just for her. She never liked these public affairs, too many people.

She smiles to her father and then to the myriad guests. Truth be told she had not gotten out as much as she would have liked, though she did enjoy the time she spent with Jin.

Meanwhile seated just behind Darth Xevious was aspirant Lana Beniko, in more traditional fare. She eschewed extravagance for function. She simply observes and takes mental notes always reading the connections.

Baes was not here to talk...but she was a smart cookie and she knew how to support the prime actor. She wore a light green dress for the occasion, with room enough in the right places to hide a few things

Sylvain arrived in his formal dark robes with a matching black military uniform underneath. Aside him strode a beautiful and powerful blonde angel of a woman in a matching backless dress. He linked arms with Kristal as they walked in tiger and greeted the happy couple. He bowed politely to Darth Xevious, his daughter, and then his apprentice as they found a spot near the delegation head and began to watch the proceedings with interest.

Senator Seir'oto arrived in an elaborate suit, with his signature sash over it that contained his accolades. He was practically beaming with joy, given his smile and lit eyes. Clearly he enjoyed weddings.

Hala mingle with the other guests after paying her respects to the couple of honor, Darth Xevious', and then to the Mon Cal.

"A pleasure as always to see you again, Senator," she said politely as she moved up to the happy man.

Adrianaa was there as well, dressed in her best Senatorial robes, the black and gold a stark contrast. She has a glitter in her eye and sticks with the Republic delegates for the time being.

Kristal wore a dress, that was enough to leave people watching but not so much that it would be deemed extravagance by far. Offering a slightly lopsided but almost fashionable look with her left hand being concealed underneath a long sleeved glove that matched her outfit well. On her right, however, was a piece of magnificence, latched onto Sylvain's arm as they walked in together the pair were sure to draw attention.

Sylvain chatted with Kristal at his side until he saw the signal from Xevious that it was time to make their presentation. Standing with Kristal at his side he made motion for the servants to bring forth their gift from the other room.

Approaching the front table with his beautiful assistant in tow, Sylvain bowed graciously to the newly joined couple and the host of the evening with practiced poise. He addressed the couple formally.

"Congratulations on your marriage. As a token of our appreciation to our host and you for your most gracious invitation we would like to present to you with but a couple of trinkets which we hope you will enjoy and cherish in your home for many years to come." He smiled and had a table brought up to the stand.

"First to the noble groom. The legend of your skill in pazaak and all games of chance is legendary not only on Nar Shaddaa but through the entire galaxy. We offer this table, made from the finest lumber on Ziost, and lain with gold with the hope that your perpetual fortune will continue ever stronger now that you have become the luckiest man in the galaxy by marriage to your love."

He then presented a crystal statue and put it in front of the bride, "And for the bride, a sculpture of Ziostian Crystal from the obscure and precious mines of Kol Goroth. This crystal is said to change color depending on the mood and passion of its owner. We hope that your passion and love for one another keep it perpetually beautiful in your home, and perhaps offer a bit of a guide for when things may need a little work. This crystal has never been sold beyond the markets of Ziost and Dromund Kaas, and truly, like your joyous union, is a unique treasure in the galaxy. May you always be blessed with passion, strength, and respect for one another is our humble wish."

Sylvain bowed politely to the couple and watched as they examined the gifts with eager eyes. He turned to his partner and smiled slightly, taking her arm in his as the two of them bowed to the host and made their way back to their seats.

Alysele Cortess was there as well! She looked elegant nad pretty, like a proper Jedi princess should. She glanced towards Sylvain and Kristal, a small seed of jealousy springing up... but she squashed it quickly. It was unbecoming of a new and improved Jedi. Or something.

She held an elegant glass of wine in her hand, sipping from it, for politeness sake.

She saw a familiar face (though it was strange to see Beniko without the blue coloration of a holo call." She gave a smile that was full of politeness and lacking in sincerity, and gave a small wave.

Instead of the aspirant, she moved closer to the younger Sith. "Hello there. Jedi Knight Alysele Cortess." She extended a greeting. "Enjoying yourself?"

For her part Lana gives a curt nod but little more. Serani offers a nod to the Jedi and says, "Master Jedi, it is a pleasure to speak with you. I am Serani, daughter of Darth Xevious, Dark Councilor of the Sith Empire. I Nal Hutta... is dreadfully, warm."

She dabs her forehead removing small beads of sweat.

Naveera wrapped her arms around one of Zanebry's and remarked, "I cannot believe I managed to secure an invitation for this. But with the right people anything is possible, isn't it?"

"I wouldn't say anything, but almost. Some things are reserved for only the truly fortunate after all." He placed his opposite hand of hers as he started to move around the hall. More to get a look around the hall more then anything.

"Certainly, it is." She agreed, sweat forming on her own petite form as well. "Not exactly prime weather for most humanoids sadly." She flashed a friendly smile at Serani. "You are a Sith too? A Force Sensitive?"

by Niall Organa
Niall had been chosen to provide the gifts for the Republic. One benefit that being in a formal military gave was that picking out what to wear for special occasions was never a challenge. Nevertheless, Niall's appearance was impeccable as he stepped forward to present the gifts. His uniform bright blue, the collar even, his modest collection of rank insignia and medals polished. And, of course, he took some care for his own grooming, not a hair out of place.

The first item came in a finely lacquered box, made of real wood. All the more fitting for the object contained within. It was a slug-thrower, specifically a revolver, one of a sort that hadn't been used for ages. It was in fine condition, its marble handle and metal pieces finely polished, but was nevertheless clearly an antique. And, Niall assured the groom, still fully functional.

The other item made Niall smile to produce. It was a harp, also wooden, and hand sculpted, an artisanal piece. It was also Alderaanian, which was what brought the smile to Niall's face. He presented the items with soft words and a bow to the, he fervently wished, happy couple.

His duty done, he glanced casually at the other guests, and then moved to politely converse with Baesal

After the gifts were given, instead of returning to their seats Kristal noticed where the Republic soldier had gone, or precisely whom he had gone to. With that bit of note she felt the need to direct Sylvain toward them. Wishing to approach on the outside of the center of the festivities.

Sylvain nodded at her request and headed over to Niall with Kris at his side, locking arms as they strode over regally.

Nodding as they approached he greeted the man saying, "Captain Organa, it's a pleasure to see you again."

Niall turned as the pair approached, his expression polite. His eyebrows went up just a little in recognition upon sighting the familiar Sith.

"Ah, Lord Sylvain." Niall said, a smile touching his lips. "I hope you've been well since we last spoke. That was a memorable breakfast." He looked at Sylvain's companion; he knew the Sith was polished enough to introduce them.

He nodded graciously, "I have been well, and you too I assume?"

He motioned to Kristal on his arm, "May I introduce Kristal Serasai, Champion of Darth Marr, and my friend. Admittedly one of those titles is far more impressive than the other."

"Well enough, thank you." Niall said agreeably.

The little joke was enough to draw a small chuckle from the normally serious Captain. "Don't sell yourself short. Friends are precious, and I feel that your recommendation means something."

He gave Kristal an aristocratic bow. "Captain Niall Organa. It is a pleasure to meet you."
