Javagus carefully maneuvered the Noxious Dream down onto an open landing pad as it descended from the sky. The freighter didn't stand out very much among the other ships docked at the space port, and only the yellow hexagon with the words "Yamasaki Chemicals" emblazoned in front of it gave any clue as to what it might be carrying.
Once the ship had settled into place, he spendt a few moments flicking through the controls, cutting the sublight engines and powering down the non-essential environmental controls. Once everything was settled, he stood up, stretched, and flicked on his comlink. "This is Javagus Khan, with Yamasaki Chemicals. I've made planetfall in Jiguuna and can meet with you at your leisure."
As he waited for a reply, he made his way out of his ship and down to the landing pad. The atmosphere of Nal Hutta earned a crinkle of the nose. The smell was worse than the travel messages had warned him about.

The commlink responded soon enough. "Diana Syndulla, good to hear you've had a safe flight. I am at a place called 'The Deep One', for whatever reason. Just a blaster shot from the spaceport, follow the scent of a cadmium swamp."

"How lovely. I'm on my way. Look for the human in the hood."
Rather than relying upon his nose, Javagus pulled out his datapad and brought up a map of the spaceport. It only took him a few moments to orient himself and figure out where he needed to go. Much to his displeasure, he found that Moyr wasn't lying about the fragrant nature of the establishment.
He paused near the door, allowing his gaze to wander out across the crowd as he waited for his client to draw his attention.

A red twi'lek wearing environment-appropriate wear approached him, her walk swinging slightly to the catchy tune. She extended her hand for a handshake, small smile wandering across her face but hesitant to remain in one place. "Not the most graceful location, mind you, but at least affording some discretion. Hopefully."

Javagus takes her hand and shakes it firmly, an easy smile finding its way to his face. "Nothing wrong with it t'all. Pleasure to put a face to the name."

The woman calling herself Diana glanced favourably at the Biths giving some justice to the idea of music, then returned the smile. "Or maybe it's a proper bar after all. What do you drink?" She gestured back to the table on the side she had occupied and had left her jacket at.

"Always been a fan of tryin' out the local brews, least the ones that won't kill me." He slides into place opposite her jacket and folks his hands together atop the table. "Once had a tasty little drink in this spaceport on Rothana. Wasn't like anything I'd ever had. Turns out, there was a reason for that, 'cause it was intended for silicone-based species." Javagus chuckles over the memory.

"I have developed a few acquired tastes as well. Probably the strangest I had was something from algae from Mon Cala. I didn't become a fan." She chuckled. "Besides, even if you order something from Corellia or Mandalore, there's no guarantee in places like this that you'll get a real thing." She chuckled. "Well, at places like this there's a risk you have a half of periodic table in your drink and you'll glow this evening. But if you have a drink meant for siliconids behind you, I suppose it doesn't matter that much."
She raised fingers for two of local speciality, then returned her attention to the businessman.
"But quality in chemical composition is important when we move the discussion to an industrial scale, isn't it?"

"That," he says, leaning forward, "is one of my favorite topics. Yamasaki Chemicals has a proven track record of quality and trustworthiness that you'll be hard pressed to find out 'ere on the Rim. 'Core Worlds quality and Outer Rim prices,' is what I always like to tell customers."
He splays his fingers apart, palms up, before meshing them back together. "How industrial are you lookin' to be?"

"I am not a corporate client, and I am looking for a one-time delivery. Maybe several if the end users will take liking in its efficacy. The amount would not have to be great, though measurements are still ongoing, but I am looking at more complex chemicals, with better value-to-transport/storage costs ratio."
She paused, lowering her tone.
"I was contemplating some potent organophosphates."

"Shouldn't be a problem." Javagus nods in understanding as he pulls a datapad out from his robes. He inclines it toward her, letting her glimpse the screen if she so chooses. "You seem like a woman who's done her research, and I appreciate that. Lots of chemicals out there, most of 'em plenty deadly to just about anything you'd want taken out of commission."
He pauses as the server arrives with their drinks. He sips at his as he waits for the droid to wander back out of earshot. "Now, 'fore we go into details, mind if we have a little chat about protocols? Nothin' major, just common protocols to stop those scenes of one of us holdin' a canister of deadly chemicals and the other a blaster as we threaten' each other over a misunderstandin'. Fun as that is, company thinks it drives up the cost of our health plan a bit too much, so they like us to lay things out before anyone starts gettin' too far into details."

"I am not entirely sure what you mean by that, but I am willing to listen." She commented without malice after taking her own sip.

"No worries," he says, offering a reassuring smile. "Mostly just means that I'm gonna be askin' you some questions to try to get the right product for your needs in the most effective quantity. The more information you can give me, the more we effective we can make things."
Javagus sips at his drink. "Now, most people, they just want 'chemicals' and assume that they're all the same. Not true. You want to spray for womp rats, that's a different chemical than wanting to spray for, say, Bothans. It's all chemistry, anatomy, biology..." He waved his hand in a small circle, indicating that he could go on for days. "Point of the matter is, I'm gonna be askin' you some questions about what you're intendin'. If you can answer 'em, then great. If not, that's fine, too, just means we cast a broader net.
He leans back and spreads his hands out to either side of him. "Now, goes without sayin', but everythin' you talk about with me, that's considered privileged information. If you're wantin' to murder your spouse or turn the atmosphere of a planet into a toxic miasma or whatever else, well, none of that's gonna leave company files. How much you tell us, that's up to you. Our only goal is to provide you with quality, trustworthy chemicals at a competitive price."

"Those are certainly enticing conditions, and we can go through this protocol." She spilled some foam from her ale and with it she finger-drew something that could resemble a large slug, but maybe not. "But I would have a question if you have corporate clients who you occasionally share some of this marketing information with on quid pro quo basis. Like Czerka, Merr-Sonn or the Black Star. I know some companies do that and don't perceive it as a violation of confidentiality."

Javagus has heard of Black Star and Czerka certainly, the latter is a massive super conglomerate and the former is a small weapons firm that specializes in custom made weapons specific to the customer's needs, usually. They are small but have a choice list o f clientele and have even bought goods from his company on occasion.

Javagus briefly glances down at the drawing. "Confidential is confidential, love. The only details we share are entirely operational in nature. For instance, if you wanted proof that a certain chemical was as dangerous as we say it is, I could bring up some news reports on the no money and point toward our products. But that's as far as that goes."
He taps the table with his finger. "The big fish in the pond would rather enjoy their preferred customer discounts than ask too many questions."

"I see. That puts some of my concerns to rest. The other issue is whether you have containers that come with sufficient dispersal technology, or just packaged for safety of transportation and storage." She mused, setting her drink down after another sip, twiddling thumbs.

"That answer depends upon where you intend to use them." He sips at his drink, the sets it down and opens up a file on his datapad.
"What I have on me now, you're looking at a standard KI valve. Unlock the safety catch, it activates the control panel. From there, you just punch in the code and set the timer and how much has you want to release. Gaseous agent, so should work just fine in an enclosed building. Larger the room, the more the gas diffuses, which will lessen it a impact."

She leaned in to study it. "I might be interested in something that has a pumping function for additional dispersal, through piping, ducts..."

"How big of ducts are we talkin'?" He motions toward the datapad. "He KI should work for anything up to about half a meter in diameter, assuming you put it near the fan. 'Course, you'll want to close any vents not leading into your target area to keep the gas from dispersing too much.
He finishes his drink and sets the glass near the end of thr table. "Difference between a like pile of corpses and a bunch of people with a mild headache."

"I understand the difference. An unsealed vent may thwart it all. Hence I mentioned that measurements are still being taken at the beginning of our conversation. But in an uncontrolled environment various things can happen, so I cannot dismiss the eventuality that it won't be a clear passage and some of the potence may fizzle out. So, can it be accounted for by increasing the efficacy of the original chemical?"

"Absolutely. We have an entire list of chemicals sorted by lethality, though you'll be lookin' at a bit of a wait while we ship them in." He takes the datapad, opens up a new menu, and scrolls through them. "Expedited shipping is available, though that's another surcharge."
Javagus leans back in his chair. "If time is an issue, then you're probably just better off overcompensatin' with volume. I tend to recommend double overage when possible. Use twice as much as you think you'll need, so if there's a problem, you're still workin' at lethal levels."

She nodded. "Time may not be of the essence depending on what timeframe we're discussing. But overcompensating in volume is not a wrong idea either. This is a preliminary meeting for me, a learning experience related to both the partner and the product. While the instance we're discussing may be a largely singular endeavour, the mode of operation might become a feature of how I think about resolving matters in the long run if it brings about the desired results. A signature approach you will be able to show to your clients for marketing purposes? I do have some work to do on my end before I can make specifications and place an order. But I suppose it's time to touch on the price tags, isn't it?"

"If you're lookin' at something to be shipped in, there are plenty of other options available as well, dependin' on your needs. Rarer compounds are less likely to be treatable by medical droids, for instance."
Javagus takes his datapad and swipes through a few quick menus. "If you're looking for immediate delivery, I have a few canisters of Sarinto-RH on my ship. Each of those is 3500 liters at 2,200 pounds per square inch. Normally, you're looking at around 7,000 credits per canister, but I'm a fan of Twi'leks and you're provin' to be right knowledgeable about what you want, so I'm willin' to give you the preferred customer discount right from the start."
He punches a few more numbers on his holopad and then looks up. "That'll drop you down to 5,500 per canister, love. If you want something shipped in, I can look up those numbers for you, but they're gonna be higher than that. If you're lookin' for less than a full tank, I don't have any problem doin' partials."
