It was time, the Hutt transport arrived at the station, and Layne & Co disembarked... to an uncertain future.

Remmington follows Layne off the ship. "So which ship we getting onto next?" He looks around.

The Hutt transport docks with a large space station in deep space beyond the boundaries of any single system. The craft comes in on autopilot and although the station is massive it also seems strangely empty, most likely automated to save on crew. The transport registers no breathable atmosphere on the exterior. There is one suit suitable for a vacuum on board the craft.
The interior of the bay is empty except for their ship and dimly lit by crimson emergency lights.
Fizer 71 appears on the holo and says, "You have arrived, good. You will have a limited window before my work is detected. Use it wisely. First task is to get the life support working in a minimal capacity."

"Should've had more of those," Layne said as she noted the readouts and took stock of what Fixer 71 was saying "So, who of us is going out there? My skill with fixing systems and computers is pretty limited."

"Well, I'm not a mechanic. So good luck whichever of you is going." Jo'ren shrugged and looked at Rem, who he knew had some skill in that area.

Remmington finishes his
work on his lightsaber just in time to hear the report. He looks at the others and nods.
"Don't worry, I got this covered. One of you guys should take that space suit just in case. I already got mine."
In fact he is already wearing his space suit. He closes it and hurries off to go get the life support systems online.

OOC: Mechanics check at Average with a setback to get life support online in this part of the station.

Jo'ren shook his head slowly and looked at Layne. "What do you know? The boy got game."
Readying himself he checked all of his gear until he was satisfied. The saber had somehow survived is fall intact. Clearly Korriban junk was a hardy material.
"Your little friend realises it's going to be dangerous out there, right? There're probably droids and other automated defenses."

"He's going to stay behind," she said, staring; nay glaring; back at Daz.

Daz says, "I will stay with the ship."
Meanwhile Remmington is able to get the life support on and can get a read of the systems and get a general layout that gives him a good path towards an area of the station that has full power and life support. Basically you have a map and can disable the internal security systems tied to the central systems. Any automated mobile platforms are not affected but internal security would be disabled otherwise.

"I'll keep my comm open so you can stay clued in," she tells Daz, then uses the same comms to communicate with Remmington.
"Are we about good to get out there?"

Jo'ren looked at the data coming in. "Looks like we're good to go Layne. Remmington seems to have done a real number on their systems."
He moved over to the airlock. "Shall we?"

"Alright then," she said, and opened the airlock to meet back up with Remmington.

They walked over to the other Sith and Jo'ren nodded at him. He kept his voice low, conscious of echoes. "Good work Rem. Looks like we've got ourselves a path to the target area."
He looked at Layne. "Well, this is your show. Lead on Layne." The twinblade was unclipped and held loosely in his right hand, ready for action, just in case a fight broke out along the way.

Layne would lead them along the path that Remmington had uncovered for them, keeping a good solid pace.
"Fixer 71," she said into her comms. "We have a path to the fully powered part of the station. We're heading there now."

"Thanks guys. Though while the internal security is down that doesn't mean there isn't other stuff around."
Remmington comments as he opens up the helmet of his space suit. He switches over and lowers his scanner goggles over his eyes to keep alert for anything that may not be visible to the naked eye. His left hand rests on his lightsaber but it remains clipped for now in case he needs both his hands for something.

The interior of the station is a clean Imperial layout, eerily quiet but the hum of internal systems and machinery to keep the station running. Remmington sees nothing out of the ordinary with his canner goggles having disabled the internal security but that does not mean they are alone.
Fixer 71 chimes in, “Proceed quickly then.”
All three Sith feel something powerful nearby, a twisting knot of the dark side.
OOC: Perception or Vigilance rolls please.
