Nar Shaddaa

Kristal had no attention of slowing down, allowing her team to rest after their brush with death she moved onto her first and only task. Seeking out the man named Bur she presented herself at the gate. Just a small tuft of singed hair was all that was visible of Kristal's morning thus far. With Weaver at her side she was determined to continue her task, giving herself no break even in the wake of an attack. As she had learned it was the best way to fight back against those that would attempt to stop her. If she couldn't figure out who, where, or what they were she could do one thing.

Just keep moving forward.

The guards show her and Weaver inside. They bring the Sith to a waiting room and then leave. Weaver says, “Is the Captain going to be okay?”

"He will need time," she said, working into it slowly after they were given the moment. Looking about the room with a passing interest. "He will live, however the injuries are severe... but Captain Harad is a tougher cut. Something like that won't keep him down for long."

Weaver is about to reply when the soldiers bring in the criminal in drab gray uniform. They set him down across from the Sith and then exit.

Bur just stares at the two of them.

"Bur," she says his name in a greeting manner as she opens her hands in front of herself. Stepping toward the table and placing them palms down atop it.

"You have an opportunity before you," she says flatly, forcing the man to chase with a question.

Bur is silent staring at her.

Kristal waited, palms on the table, unflinching. Just looking right back at the man.

He looks at her hands and then says with an accent unknown to her, “Yes?”

"Dano Fisk," she uttered the name and watched his expression for any sign of recognition.

His eyes belay a slight reaction as he says, “What does that have to do with me?”

"You can find him, and you are going to do so," she said carefully keeping up the coldness of her voice to betray no sense that he was helping her.

“The only way I am doing that is if I am free, otherwise put me back in that hole or kill me,” he says with his foreign accent.

"I cannot promise you freedom," she says, "but I can give you time. It will not be freedom but you can walk past these walls in order to track down this man. Under my supervision," she says the last with a cold weight to it. It wasn't what he wanted but it offered a man like him a chance. A chance enough, she hoped, that he would agree without more thought.

“Forgive me if I am not inspired to believe the words of a Sith,” he says cautiously.

OOC: Charm or Deception roll at Average with 1 die upgraded to a red and a setback due to his situation, if she wishes to convince him. Weaver will back her up giving her a boost die.

"Know that when I speak it is not in a manner for deception," she said coolly. "Otherwise I would have promised you your freedom, would I have not?"

He says nothing and taps the table lightly. He finally speaks, “I will help you but I want my freedom afterwards, make it happen Sith. I know how your Empire works.”

“So when do we get started?”

"We will see," she said, offering chance but no guarantee again. A woman who actually cares about her word as she was.

Rising right after the next question she gave the answer he might have seen coming, "Immediately."

Of course, she didn't really expect to just walk out of the room with him right then and there, exactly. However, she did expect that either she or Weaver could quickly oversee his transfer of custody into her care. From there they could truly begin.

Maybe fifteen minutes and a bit of Sith expedience and the trio are now walking out the front door of the prison. Bur is quiet as he tucks his hands into his pockets.

Weaver says, “Don’t get any ideas, this isn’t freedom. You serve at my lord’s pleasure.”

Bur says nothing in reply.

Perhaps highlighting just as Weaver said, Kristal merely began with:

"You will begin by telling me what you know of Dano Fisk."

“He framed me and left me in that hole,” the man says bitterly.

“Fisk was an officer from what I gathered and I got him in touch with the pirate queen. I got contacts on Seven Devils but they won’t talk to you.”

Kristal's right brow moved at that, information for later when it mattered.

"Then your release into my care will not prove to be waste after all," she says, allowing the direction to be abundantly clear before she even said it. "You will contact them on my behalf and retrieve the information I require. I want to know what business Dano Fisk had with this pirate queen."

“I’ll need a ship,” he responds.

"I have a ship," she replies simply allowing him to make his attempt at the request, or demand, she felt was coming.

“Then you take me to Seven Devils, I can get us through,” he says in reply.

It didn't come, but perhaps he was just waiting for the right moment.

With a nod their course was set, however, "Weaver," she says looking over to her, "I will leave him to you. There is something to which I must attend."
