[Dapper Dog]

"I showed her the invoice and she said i was mistaken. Why would Hutts even care about the contracter that fixed my refresher. I really should just stop trying but I eould feel terrible if he didn't hlget paid."


"So here I am waiting on Nem'zo... Bem'ro... I mean Nem'ro same thing right?"

[Zeno Deathwright]

"It's Nem'ro. Suudaa Nem'ro, current head of the Nem'ro clan. Was the construction already completed?"

[Dapper Dog]

"I... didn't hire a clan. Just a trandoshan and his daughter... I think I'm in the wrong place?" She says with embarrassment.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"It's possible that those contractors work for Nem'ro. Let me take a look at the contract," he says, peaking at the datapad. "We'll see if you're in the wrong place."

[Dapper Dog]

It's obvious from the invoice that this person is an independent contractor named Nem'zo and has nothing to do with the Hutts directly. It's in Huttese, but it's pretty obvious otherwise.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"Yeah, you're in the wrong place. You're looking for Nem'zo. Honestly, I'm surprised you didn't get taken for your credits, making you pretty lucky," he says with a chuckle. "So not such a big loss. Just some time. But you got to spend some of it with me so things aren't so bad no?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Well you seem not like anyone here, I am sorry did you tell me your name already?" she says a bit flustered.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"In a lot of ways I'm worse than a lot of people here," he says with a smirk. "But you looked out of place here and it piqued my curiosity. And I did, Lord Zeno Deathwright. But you didn't tell me yours Jani." He taps the datapad with the contract so she knew he wasn't some creep stalker.

"Since your here already, how about sharing a drink and conversation with me."

[Dapper Dog]

"Well if you are worse, I would be dumb to say no, so okay. Hi... I am Jani, which you already know, hi Lord Deathwright," she says awkwardly.

"Are you nobility from your world?" she says trying to fill the space.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"In the ways that are important at a party or in a bar, I'm definitely not worse," he says with a laugh. "Zeno is fine."

"I am, and was before I became a Sith. The Deathwrights are a noble family tied to the Imperial Navy. Elite combat pilots. How about yourself? You've got an outer rim accent but I'm not familiar enough with the different planetary accents to figure that out."

[Dapper Dog]

"Just a Information Security Officer, nothing important like a Sith or lord, I was born on a little colony out near the Mandalore system. Nothing fancy like whatever you just explained," she says nervously.

"Do Sith come out to Nal Hutta often?"

[Zeno Deathwright]

"We have a compound on Nar Shadda so I imagine it happens pretty frequently. The palace is down here after all, so I imagine Sith come through Jiguna pretty regularly." He shrugs at that. "And there are plenty of Sith that relish a challenge so there may be a few that come down here to hunt the wilds."

[Dapper Dog]

"That sounds really dangerous," she counters.

"I will stay in the city, thank you. I don't get along with the great out doors and the bugs... and really just all the bugs."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"The bugs do make things uncomfortable. But there are worse things than discomfort. Boredom comes to mind, but you're doing an excellent job of dispelling that for me."

[Dapper Dog]

She waves that away, "You are far too kind, Lord Deathwrhight. I know I am not that exciting. I thought Nar Shaddaa would be an adventure, I have been here for three years and this is the first time I have ever been to Nal Hutta,"

"I am the definition of boring."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"You say that, but you stand out here. I wouldn't have approached you if that wasn't the case," he says with a smirk. "And anyone that's lived life in the outer rim and then on Nar Shaddaa certainly has to have some stories."

[Dapper Dog]

"I am sure a Sith lord has way more stories than I could count," she says with a warm laugh.

She takes a drink and says, "So what are the Hutts like, I have always been scared to talk to them."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"They love credits, and distrust everyone. And they enjoy getting one over on you. It makes interacting with them a challenge at times. But as long as you understand that you're likely to get the shorter end of any deal with them and are prepared for it so you don't end up indebted... they're not so bad," he replies. "Though they do tend to keep to their deals. If they get a reputation for backing out of them, then they start losing business partners, which is of course bad for business."

[Dapper Dog]

"That's more nuanced than I expected. I think I will just avoid being on their radar so to speak," she responds.

"I have worked for a few Hutts, but never met them directly."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"That's not a bad way to handle it, keeping a buffer between you and them. But if you get involved directly, doing work for a Hutt personally, the stakes get a bit higher as do the payouts. I'm sure that someone who chose to make Nar Shaddaa their home, whether permanent or temporary, has a bit of daring." He punctuates that with a wink.

[Dapper Dog]

"Money is great, but I don't get greedy. I make enough," she smiles.

"Maybe, give me a couple years to work up my courage."

[Zeno Deathwright]

"You may make enough, but you won't be offended if I buy you a drink will you?"

[Dapper Dog]

"I don't think so, if you want to, I won't stop you," she says with a smile.

"So what do Sith do?" she says resting her chin and on her hands.

[Zeno Deathwright]

"We rule the empire, study, teach, fight, and mostly... live our lives to the fullest. We remove obstacles to those things, and take those we favor with us. A Sith takes their destiny into their own hands."

He eventually flags down the bartender as best he can, and gets a pair of drinks.

[Dapper Dog]

"But like what is a Sith? I heard there was a species... a civilization but now it's like a dirty word, in some circles," she says confused.
