Seeing Red (Day 3 Early Evening)

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Oh, I was alright, just annoyed. I was excited to get the program on air. They took the aerial over remotely." She sighed, shaking her head, and lekku. "I got over. I think today's edition may have gotten too political in commentary because of that, I couldn't help myself venting a little this way, but the music's good. Or at least I hope it will be liked." She looked at him finishing the chip, then offering another. After a corner of her lips curved up, she took a small bite. Her lekku were pulled back slightly at the base as she did so. "As an experienced denizen, do you have any life hacks for me, Zane, about how best to find my way around the Moon?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I'm sure it will be, you're good at what you do Darwi." He smiled softly. "I am glad to hear you weren't in any danger though, and if you need to vent more, I'm here to help however I can."

After she was through he brought the chip to his own lips taking a small bite, then offering it to her again. A playful smile on his lips all the while. "I can offer a few, though it changes a bit based on where you are staying. My first bit of advice would be to stay away from Shadow town though. The second would be an umbrella is your best friend."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"An umbrella." She raised her finger and lek in sync, committing it the memory. "Yes, it'll be better than a hood on my jacket. And the Shadow Town, yeah. This is where all the sentients get murdered. I hear about it every day. What do you think about those Crimson Shades, or how those ruffians call themselves?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Yes, this oily rain will ruin most clothes even those made for inclement weather. The smell sinks in and it's almost impossible to get out." Finishing the chip, his eyes wandered down to check on her drink.

"Honestly I don't think I care too much for them. Their message seems to be to conflict a bit with their actions. Why kill Aris after complaining about the various delegates being pampered. Whatever they are up to, i doubt it's what they said."

[Col. Hala Moraal]

"People who resort to such means very rarely want what they say. In my experience, many simply use it as an excuse to gain power in one self-serving way or another or it's a way to indulge some inner sadism," Hala said offhandedly, her attention long seemingly turned back to the game.

[Zanebry Varliss]

Z's eyes flicked over to the older woman for a moment, but he didnt yet say anything, curious as,to ehat Darwi might say.

Darwi looked between them both as they were making remarks, some befuddlement in the gaze. "So what do you think they really want?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I've always considered money to be a good motivator." Z mused as he took a sip of his drink. "Could explain their choice of target at the very least."

His lips curled in a warm smile. "You'll have to excuse me for a moment ladies." He said as he rose to his feet.

"I'm going to get us fresh drinks my dear. Is there anything in particular you would like?"

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Dorian Quill on rocks for me." Darwi smirked.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"As you wish Darwi." He offered her a smile, any tipped his hat to her and then Hala. "I'll be back shortly." He started to walk away, glancing over his shoulder to ask. "Anything else while I'm up?" Bbefore going any further.

[Col. Hala Moraal]

She shook her head no.

"I'm fine, thank you Zane," she answered before turning back to the match.

[Zanebry Varliss]

He hasn't really been asking the older woman but still he nodded, giving one last glance to Darwi before walking away.

It might be a bit before he returned with drinks in hand the arena was rather crowded.

Moyr perked a brow but said nothing to Hala when they were left alone. She munched the chips in silence, watching the game.

[Zanebry Varliss]

He expected the ladies to be chatting when he returned, apparently things were a bit more bitter between the two then he imagined though. As he walked back towards the pair he put a charming smile of his lips as he offered Darwi her drink. "One Dorian Quill on the rocks for my Rose."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I would say carmine, so the stadium lights might be playing tricks on you." Darwi said after she had watched her exposed wrist for a moment, studying her own skin colouration. She accepted the drink. "Thank you, Zane." Her brow had slightly twitched at the possessive pronoun, but she said nothing, just smiled and took a sip of her whiskey. "You missed a goal. I think we're nearing the end of the game?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

His eyes drifted to her wrist as she studied it, lingering for a moment before moving back to her eyes. "Carmine, yes that's right." He hadn't missed the small twitch of her brow, and the information was filed away as he took his seat between her and Hala. "You're quite welcome Miss Carmine." He took a sip of his own drink, a whiskey like hers before turning her way. "Unless you prefer Miss Bewitching?"

When she pointed out the missed goal he nodded. "I do believe you are right, it seems our evening is almost at an end."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"And you seem to have got bored with my name already and seek newer ones." Her deep red lips creased in a smirk when pressed against the glass, as she was looking at him discretely. "Should I understand by this that you are spellbound, Zane?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"That will never be the case Darwi, you have a lovely name and i wont soon forget it. I just like a lady to be aware of how i see her."

He watched her for a moment, his eyes lingering on her lips for a few moments before moving towards her eyes. "I believe I am."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Then we'll have to determine whether it's not just an effect of novelty, whiskey and stadium emotions." She smiled gently facing him straight for a moment, her eyes locked with his, before batting her lashed gaze away. For that moment her eyes had been both curious and cautious. It had been the final gong that drew her attention from him. "We'll have a chance to check tomorrow, won't we?"

[Zanebry Varliss]

"I suppose we will." He murmured in response, turning her eyes away from her and towards the field. "No better way for a pair of musicians to get to know each other then a session together after all."

[Moyr Ahaya]

"I can agree with that without too many reservations." She smirked, catching a glimpse of him in her peripheral, right before she would finish her whiskey. She characteristically rattled the rocks before the last sip.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"Oh? Too many reservations? Perhaps you have a better way?" He drained his own glass, swirling the dregs of the cup slowly in his hand as he watched the teams begin to pack up. the stadium would start emptying soon, and it would be time for them to go.

[Moyr Ahaya]

"Maybe? But it's a good way, Zane, something I want to do. And I am really looking forward to ti." She rose by leaning forward on her crossed legs, then straightened from bent knees without support of her seat. This way the curvature of her body got fluidly accentuated before approximating a straight line once she was standing. "Thank you for bringing me here. I enjoyed the show." She smiled gently.

[Zanebry Varliss]

"So am I Darwi, it's been too long since I've played anything but the piano in front of an audience." He watched her as she rose to her feet, the way she moved was likely the sexiest part about her. Not that any piece was bad though.

"It was my pleasure, perhaps we will have to do something like this again." Setting aside his glass, he rose to his feet. "Could I walk you out?" He asked casually offering his arm.
