After the game, Durasay was feeling much more centeted. Channeling that simmering anger had certsinly helped him on the field.
Waiting outside of the locker room, he leaned against a wall. He still had to talk to Petty Officer Ormont about the rescue mission.
Shaisha had spoken highly of him. But she made a point of not wishing to speak for him. Which made perfect sense.

After changing his shirt, Cole had put his jacket back on and slung the utility belt around his hips. His stride was loose, sauntering, his kit slung carelessly on his shoulder.
"Durasay, good game, shall we get a drink?"

"Good game to you as well. Yes, I'd love a drink." He buttoned up his trench coat. Walking with the Republic naval officer, he tucked his hands into his jacket.
"You're a medical officer, right? How's the service treating you?"

"Right," Cole ran a hand through his hair, "I can't complain. Three square meals a day, a place to sleep, and all the mangled bodies I could hope for," the last one had been a joke, though his deadpan delivery didn't make that immediately obvious.
"You have the carriage of a soldier," he observed, "ex-military, I'm guessing?"

"Pantora Planetary Defense. Served aboard a couple of corvettes. Mainly smuggling interdiction and stopping pirates. He had to smile at the grim.joke. Durasay got where Cole was coming fron.
"Served a couole tours before mustering out, striking out on my own with Wanderlust." His gait was purposeful, deliberate. Yet also casual.
"Our mutual friend is the Lady Shaisha. I don't know if she told you, but I'm putting together an outfit. Dangerous, off the books kind of mission."

"She mentioned a mission, some sort of extraction? Are you expecting heavy resistance?" Cole wasn't familiar with the drinking holes of Nar Shaddaa, especially Uptown, so he followed Durasay's lead.

"One of my crewmates. He has someone in a prison that is of utmost importance to him." He led them to a smaller dive cantina in the Uptown. One of those places that space-hipsters tended to go to. Drinks were cheap, and the crowd was minimal. A haze of smoke and music filling the place up.
"Only one entrance into the place. And it apparently has enough defenses to blow us out of the sky. We need to capture a ship, falsify some codes, and probably get some uniforms." He slid up to the bar, an empty seat for Cole next to him. "And it screws over the Hutts, all at the same time. Danger level is high, if captured, it's the spice mines or worse." He looked directly at Cole.
"Sound like fun?"

"Sounds important," Cole slung himself onto a stool and ordered a whiskey sour, "and not my usual line of work. What do you need from me?"

"Well, I need someone with medical experience, in case the person we retrieve is in a bad way." He ordered one of the same, before looking back at Cole. "And hopefully keep each member of the team in one piece if things go jubba fruit shaped."
There was a serious undercurrent to his tone. "No one is going to be left behind."

Cole sipped his drink thoughtfully. "You understand that I'm dead weight in a fight? I can give you the name of a woman I trust, but I can't promise she's available."

"'I'd appreciate that. We're bringing a lot of firepower, but we also need specialists. Hopefully, there won't be any fighting if this goes down right. I just like to be prepared." The drinks were delivered, Durasay thanking the bartender. "Who is the woman, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Jedi Vyliis. She's a skilled medic, a Force healer, and she shouldn't be underestimated. She may be lacking in combat prowess, but she can wield a lightsaber, and that's more than I can say." Cole took another drink, he liked the sourness of the lemon after the exertion of Huttball, but he also indicates to the waitress and, as an afterthought, requests a glass of water.
"I'll tell you to speak plain around her. She's always looking for the traps in your meaning. Tell her what you want straight and don't leave room for interpretation."

"I'm not one to try and speak in doubletalk." He idly held the glass in his hand. "A Jedi is always a good idea to have. Especially if she is as talented as you say."
Though she'd have to compare to Alysele.
"You wouldn't happen to know any skiller slicers, would you?"

"You're in luck there. Because Ashla is good with computers as well." Cole stirred his drink.

Durasay smiled widely. It seemed the team was beginning to have plenty of specialists. "Then I certainly am glad Shaisha recommended you." He raised his drink to Cole.
"To victory, then?"

To avoiding a life in the spice mines, Cole thought warily, but raised his glass to the Pantoran, "to victory."
