It had been hard to find a time to meet Darwi, their schedules seemed so similar at times they clashed. Still they had finally found the time that could work for the both of them. An umbrella over his head he waited outside the Huttball stadium where he said she could find him when he arrived.

It took Darwi a while to get her way across the stadium, filled with audience of different races and cultures and levels of politeness. Gracefully manoeuvring along the aisles, she tried to find the seat numbers he had sent her, rechecking them on comm frequently. She was protectively hugging a bag of dried meiloorun chips.

He apparently had missed her at the entrance, so stepping inside he purchased a couple lightly alcoholic beverages and made his way towards where their seats were located. He had told her the seat locations after all, just in case.

Weaving his way through the crowds his eyes settled on a young woman apparently trying to find he seats. She was a lovely thing, and while he half doubted it would be her he called out anyways. "Darwi?"

Arsele passed on snacks... though she did buy a big foam finger; She wasn't cheerleading today so she could bet, so she had to show her support somehow!

She somehow picked out his voice calling her name from the pre-game ruckus and turned toward its source. Somehow she had imagined him more or less like this, a dapper gentleman in a hat. The Force made such things possible. Her right lek perked up, but then she corrected herself and waved with actual hand. "Zane?" She smiled at a distance.

Hala walked into the guest box, a wager chit clasped tightly in her black gloved hand. She had heard good things about this team and perhaps watching would be more fun than playing.... certainly less painful. She massaged her right elbow and found a seat nearby which she proceeded to occupy and straighten her uniform.

Zane hadn't a clue what Darwi actually looked like, he had imagined she was pretty, but she was even more attractive then he had thought. His lips curling into a warm smile, he took a step towards her. "Darwi, its a plaeasure to finally meet you ine person. Something in our conversations, made me think you were pretty, I really didn't picture you so beautiful though."

When Darwi was ready he started leading her towards their seats, it was likely coincidence that put them right next to Hala, and he offered the older woman a smile as they sat down.

He was in for another suprise though as it seemed Arsele was seated rather close as well. (If she wants to be.)

"You mean my voice sells myself short? It's a bad thing to realise for a singer. I am devastated." She smirked gently as the tips of her lekku turned into small hooks and caught each other. "Do you like dried meiloorun chips?" She regarded him with more attention as they were reaching their seats.

He chuckled lightly. "I'd say it was more that your voice was so enchanting, I couldnt imagine there would be a woman on this moon to match it." He lips curled his a smile. "I happily admit I was wrong."

"I do." He agreed with a nod, lifting the two cups in his hands. "I hope you don't mind, but I bought us some drinks, I didn't know what you liked so I got us dantooine dewbacks. "

As Zane and the Twi'lek talked, Arsele's eyes were fixed on the game. The urge to cheerlead was high, but she mostly managed to restrain herself beyond a "Kick em' where it hurts!" to Jo'ren and a "You go girl!" to the senator.

By the time the game ended, she'd nearly forgotten about her bet.

((Valkyries win. 1350 bet, 1350-135 = 1215 credits won))

"You are a charmer, Mr Zane, and a man who has probably seen a bit already. I find it hard to believe I am the first woman to ever hear such things from you. Though I am a Lethan, and that coloration is not common, so we could settle on me reigning over at least that division of galactic beauty." She chuckled softly, presenting him with the bag of healthy nutritional chips while leaning in to drink through a straw from the drink he held. "I like ginger and lime." She said idly as her golden gaze ventured from him, at an upward engle, with her lekku brushing against one another, toward the game. "Please explain to me what' happening."

She certainly knew how to use her sex appeal to her advantage, something Z was certainly not surprised at. Perusing his lips thoughtfully, he looked her over once again before they settled into their seats. "I can agree to that." He offered after a moment. Taking the offered chip he bit into it before turning his eyes towards the game.

"I believe I have to apologize Darwi, it seems I've been distracted and not keeping track of the score. Please excuse me for a moment."

Turning away for a moment he looked to the older woman to his left. "Excuse me Madam, I don't wish to disturb, but my companion and I arrived to our seats a bit late. Would you be so kind as to tell me the score?"

"Two for the Valkyries, one against I believe," Hala said politely.

"Do you come here often? This is the first game I've caught since I arrived."

"Thank you Madam." He offered Hala a polite smile, and turned back towards Darwi for a moment. "It seems the team we are here to root for are winning. The score is a bit closer then it usually is though, their opponents must be good."

As Hala asked her second question he glanced once again in her direction. "Fairly often, more so now that the Valkyrie's are playing. I'm a..." There was a brief pause. "Friend of the teams Captain, and know quite a few of the others members."

"Ah, so you can tell me who is who on the team. They are rising stars in Huttball after all, I guess it's good to know their names." Moyr took the drink from Z as she sat on the rim of her seat in an 'S' position, looking toward the arena as she pulled the dewback through the straw.

"They've certainly had an impressive streak of victories. I wonder who would be a good match for them once they finish coming up through the league. If someone doesn't give them a good challenge soon, then the bookmakers won't be making any profit," Hala said, laughing gently.

"And wouldn't that be awful?"

"I can." He offered helpfully observing the twi'lek woman fr a moment, before slowly pointing out the members on the field. "Today we have Niall Oragana." He motioned to the Handsome dark haired you man. "Jo'ren Rath." He motioned to the imposing Sith striding across the field. "Cole Ormant, one of the newer members." The blond man didn't stand out much in Z's mind but he was there.

"The rest on the field are Adrianaa Morindel." She was an older woman, but she was still playing well. "Craw Tobaga, He's a Mandolorian." As the most punchable looking of them all he stood out. "And finally Aphr Ahaya, I crew with her sometimes on the Starcross." He frowned slightly. "There are a few other's that trade spots, like Arsele over there." He indicated the beautiful blonde nearby. "And the Captain Remmington is missing, something I find a bit odd."

"They have at that, and it's hard to say I think someone might have to put a team together... They have just been stomping the competition otherwise." The comment about bookmakers reminded him of his own chit, and the fact he hadn't heard back from Remmy. "Awful indeed, though I think it's a little early to worry yet."

"He offered the older woman a smile. "But where are my manners, I'm Zane."

Darwi observed with unfeigned interest. "And who is the top scorer on Valkyries so far? Is there something about their style of play that is particularly worth paying attention to?"

He turned his eyes back to Darwi, he was probably paying a bit too much attention to the older woman. "That would be Jo'ren, his strength and size simply dominate most of the competition. Craw and Niall do well though, and none of the others are what you would call bad."

"As for Jo'ren, you have to watch how he handles the ball, see how his presence and focus intimidates the other players as much as his strength and size."

"Nice to meet you Zane, I'm Hala," the older woman replied, nodding with a smile.

"If you know all these players, is there a chance we could see you down there with them some day soon?" she joked.

"A pleasure to meet you Hala." He tipped his hat in her direction.

His lips curled into a teasing smile as his eyes drifted in Darwi's direction once again. "Perhaps someday, with the proper kind of convincing. Usually I prefer to play other things though, the piano as well as a few other instruments."

"Zane's good with the instruments. We jammed together the other day." The Twi'lek glanced at the Imperial officer. "I am Darwi, you may have heard me on the radio. I pre-recorded today's Sixth Sense to come here, so you'll be able to tune in after the game."

"Is that what you do for a living, a musician? Or is it just a hobby?" Hala asked, leaning towards the couple and away from the ongoing game.
