Niall glanced down at his chrono. The match was about to start. Everyone was there. Well, almost everyone.

Where was Remmington? Niall frowned. He didn't know the Sith well, for obvious reasons, but it didn't seem like him to miss a match.

Well. They had enough players. If Remmington could arrange a last minute substitution, he would have to show up soon. In the meantime.

"Right. These guys don't look so tough." Niall said, looking across the field at the other team. "Valkyries! Let's show them what we can do!" After placing another token bet, he moved out onto the field.

Adrianaa laced up the last of her gear and followed the Captain.

"Remmington didn't get a chance to explain much about what I'll be doing. I watched a few games and read up, but it might be best if you give me some orders, Captain Organa"

If this keeps up, I might as well just get a damn uniform. If the team captain - the Sith one, not the soldier - didn't get here soon, it was looking like he would be subbing in again. He looked down at his hands, steady as plasteel with a scalpel between his fingers, I wonder how the Hutts feel about pre-game doping...

The rest of the team had some experience working together by now. Niall's plays were better fits, and the team was responding faster. They quickly maneuvered into position, and a toss from Niall let one of the faster players score.

"Hey, where's Rem? Isn't he supposed to be the Captain?"

Adrianaa nods to Naill and goes out to the field. She spots a fire trap and times it to trick an opponent to following her over it.

...Unfortunetaly, the other team knew the arena well and avoided it.

And them promptly shot the Senator from behind, causing her to stumble.

As usual Jo'ren punched a hole in the opposing team's lines, managing to score a goal and putting them ahead. He wasn't feeling as effective today after all that fighting, but he was still competent enough for this level of play.

Aphr, rushed into things quite quickly from an eager team, did her best to be assist. It seemed she was only able to give her team a boost though, instead of contribute points or goals.

Craw got a hold of the ball again, by knocking one of the opposing teammates cold with a well placed kick to the groin. He threw the ball, hitting another player's head, the ball then careened off in an arc into the goal. "WOOO! SUCK IT SHABS!" He taunted the enemy team.

Using the support of Aphr and Craw, Jo'ren was and to burst through the fire pits and score another goal! The enemy team were still distracted by Craw's obscene victory dance from the previous goal, so Jo'ren quicky responded by setting up an open play for Aphr and possibly another to exploit. He took a smack in the face for his trouble.

If recovery meant not practically fumbling a goal for the other team again, then Cole recovered for the second round. He advanced the play he'd been directed, but almost twisted an ankle with a rough landing trying to get between a pair of opposing players without shoulder barging either of them.

Adrianaa watched the enemy team to try and read their moves. Unfortunately, they were too skilled at misdirection and the Senator was unable to stop them from surprising her with a sneak play from behind her. Her quick reaction is able to alert a teammate however.

"Naill, I could use some help back here!"

Her defenses were good however, and while they were able to skip past her, they couldn't land a hit on the woman.

Niall quickly spotted the problem. He hissed through his teeth. However, he also saw that the other team had left their flanks open.

Quickly, Niall called out orders. Blindsiding their opponents, Jo'ren and Craw took them down easily, leaving the Valkyries in possession. They scored, and then scored again on the still stunned opponents.

"That's it! Well done, everyone!" Niall called out. A frown lingered on his features, however...

Jo'ren punched a member of the opposing team as a victory celebration. Something was missing though.

"Well we won, so good work. It's not the same without Rem though. Where the hell has he gotten to? Not like him to just not show."

He collected his winnings but drew less pleasure from it than on previous days.

"I know." Niall said, frowning.

He walked over to join Jo'ren. "Jo'ren..." He begain, his tone a little hesitant. "Would you look into it? Perhaps he's back at your headquarters with a case of the flu, or something. But I have a bad feeling..." His lips twitched.

[Jo'ren Rath]

He reached out with the force, but it would only give him a vague impression of Rem's existence. "I'll tell him his girlfriend is asking after him." The big Sith winked and clapped Niall on the shoulder with one hand.

Aphr approached Niall and Jo'ren as the game ended, overhearing the conversation.

"Ah, then there's no need for me to ask as well then?" Aphr said with a chuckle "sorry about yesterday guys, although I heard you did fine without me."

[Niall Organa]

Niall rolled his eyes at the response, but he smiled. "Really? Girlfriend, not mother? That's the one I usually get called."

Niall gave the young woman a smile. "You could ask, too. If nothing else, Remmi would probably be happy to hear you were concerned about him." Quite glad, if Niall read him right. "And we were quite glad to have you with us today."

[Cole Ormont]

Cole skirted the huddle and leaned against the wall as he fetched up his pack. The thing about the shakes was that you could never tell if they were real or in your head. He administers a quick hypo and takes a drink of water, dumping most of it over his head so the water runs down the back of his neck, ruffling his curls with one hand.

[Aphr Ahaya]

"Thank you, but you two were far more useful than I was. One day away and I'm out of practice!" Aphr laughed "I'll have to make sure I'm here tomorrow."

[Adrianaa Morindel]

Adrianaa approaches the team, a little wet from sweat.

"Well, that was quite fun. Thank you for allowing me to participate."

When she heard the news of Remmington, she frowned.

"I do hope he is alright. We had a...date?...last night and I would love to meet him again..."

[Jo'ren Rath]

Jo'ren laughed. "Yeah, we seem to be pretty unstoppable even when we have a shaky start.". He looked at the Twilek. "Train hard and it'll pay off...um, Aphr, right? Sometimes the universe throws you a curve ball, or knocks you into a flame pit, but if you train hard enough you'll get your revenge."

Looking up into the stands he waved to the folks he recognised. The senator's words caused him to double take. "Wait, you had a date with Remmy? Huh."
