Remmington comes out of the change room at the stadium. He seems a bit sour compared to how he usually is. He put in a bet earlier against the team.

Ashla was there. "Remmy. We need to talk."

Arsele, meanwhile, is already waiting outside. As she sees Remmy come out of the lockers... and is immediately approached by Ashla.
...how curious.
She listened in but didn't move closer.

Ashla motions the woman closer.

Remmington nods and moves closer. "This is about what we discussed earlier?"

She was involved too? Arsele shrugs inwardly and leans off the lost, walking closer, still listening.

Ashla shrugs. "I dunno?"
OOC: Ashla is busy dealing with several Jedi Masters and children in the timeslot. She won't be a part of the conversation.

"Should we wait for the others?" Remmington asks.
/ Did she at least message everyone before hand? You can still call and stuff in threads. /

Ashla shrugs. "I dunno. I saw the holochat invite, so maybe you already know. I'm sorry I didn't join. But I had some Jedi stuff going on. Do you know about the Hutts?"
OOC: She's going to let Cole know in our EA Thread.

Remmington thinks about that for a bit. "I know a little bit. Though it is probably best if we compare notes."

"I got a message telling me to throw the next match. When I traced it, I found that it came from the Hutts."

"Do you know with one?" Remmington asks.
"One sec." He takes out his commlink and sends a quick message.

"It looks like Kidaja. Possibly he did it for Dango, but I wouldn't put it past Kidaja to threaten us for a big bet."

"The Hutts are not happy with your quick rise in the games. You are gaining much too attention on yourself, Remmington." Niriti walks out of the changing room with the team uniform on. Her hair is tied in one long braid to avoid the hair getting into her face. "Maybe that Hutt has some ownership on the challenging team. Do we know anything about them?"

"Nah. They are the 'Dark Warriors.' Despite the imposing name, the suck hard. I remember them when I was here before. If no other team would let you play, you joined the Dark Warriors."

"So then all stakes are on us, and that's why most will bet on us. The few that bet against us will make a lot of money out of that." Niriti finds it interesting that it is with this team that they have their game against, and that it is the game that the Hutts want them to dive on.

"Anyone that is considering throwing this game is not welcome on the team" Aphr said firmly as she approached the group "I'm not throwing this game."

Remmington nods at Niriti and also at Ashla's information.
"We had some problems from Dango. They both have Hutt Ball teams and rivalries with each other. It seems like we are getting pressured from both sides. I got a 'message' yesterday and been getting some grief in general trying to do any sort of business on the moon."
He checks with the others. "Have any of you gotten any problems aside from just threats?"
After Aphr's proclamation he nods. "Well I am not going to ask anyone to throw the game if they do not wish to. It seems like they may be targeting certain people more than others. Either way, the problem will have to be addressed at some point."

"Well I don't know about the rest of you, but I live here. And you don't live comfortably on Nar Shaddaaand casually anger the moon's crime bosses."
She crossed her arms under her chest, "So I can't participate if we're not throwing this thing."

Surrounded by the future players of the match, and seeing that Ashla wasn't willing to help them out, Niriti decided to check on the major senses of those around her. She needed the empathy with those around her so that her speech would be more effective. The woman stood among the team members calling them to her attention.
"We are now a strange mix of players, we are neither Republic nor Imperial, we are those who have come to service the peace and to demonstrate that there can be understanding between us. That is why we must follow the ways that our captain has asked us, giving in the game or staying down. If you do what you desire, you are no team member, if you do what your selfishness opposing the word of your leader, then you are no Valkyrie. You are playing with the lives of those who surround you. The Hutt only give one warning, do not play with them, do not test their resolution, because maybe tomorrow your head will be disjointed from your body. Do your worst today, so that your comeback can be more impressive."

Aphr shook her head.
"But that is not what Remmington said. In fact, I believe his words were that the problem would needs to be addressed. He did not ask anyone to take a dive. Nor has he said his griefing has anything to do with the Huttball team."
A pause.
"Or am I wrong in this?"
She shook her head again.
"Either way, I don't believe in throwing this match. Nor will I be doing so."

Ashla watches the exchange and shrugs. "I'll go with whatever you people decide. I'm not scared of the Hutts, but I'm not prideful enough to not throw the match if that's what people want."

Remmington nods. "Well considering what everyone said. I think the safety of the team comes first and foremost. It seems like Cole must have had some trouble too. We can take a dive for this game to relieve some pressure from the Hutts. Those who are willing to can step out onto the arena floor. Which seems to be Ashla, Niriti and I at the moment. We can fill the rest with scrubs.
That way our reputation will not be hurt too badly. It will buy us some time to look into our Hutt problem too. Does that sound acceptable?" He asks.

"Well, people are going to know we took a dive, or at least suspect it. The other team sucks. But I do have a question. What do you mean by 'Hutt problem?' " Ashla, having lived on Nar Shaddaa finds nothing out of the ordinary about the Hutts threatening teams to lose a game here and there. But Remmy's words about 'looking into our Hutt problem' made her wonder what he means.

"Seems like there is more than one Hutt that has taken interest in us. I know that at least one of them is giving me a lot of attention. They are planning on making it very personal." Remmington replies and hopes they can read between the lines.
"So I want to look into ways we can stop their interference and interest in the future."
